Really glad I did, because this unit is tremendous! I've only had it less than a week, but I can't imagine being without it now. One downside to working from home during COVID is that when you only drive once every few weeks and you leave an interior light on...by the time you come back, your car battery is totally dead. Even my car's clock was reset. The IM27 turned my engine over on the first try. Less than a minute from "Oh, no!" to "Let's go!" Didn't even crack the equivalent of a sweat. I don't have to worry about having jumper cables in the car, or being able to tap a neighbor to jump start my car - just have this device. The entire kit (everything in the case) weighs just over two pounds. Half of that is the battery itself. The only thing lacking is a USB-to-AC plug for charging from an outlet, but I have plenty of those around the house. The kit is small enough to fit in the most cramped trunk - nothing like a tangled mass of jumper cables. The case is a nice hard shell, too. Plenty sturdy. I used this battery to recharge my Galaxy S10e smartphone from 25% to 100%, which took about 90 minutes. It only dropped the IM27 to about 80% capacity, so I could easily recharge our two phones twice each. There's a ruler in the image above so you can see just how compact this unit is. If you carry jumper cables now, this is a MUCH better solution - you don't need another vehicle or another person to get yourself going again. You can also quickly & easily help someone else who's stranded without having to open the hood of your car or truck. Tremendous peace of mind - and what's that worth these days? 12/24/2020 UPDATE: I left the IM27 in my car for the past two weeks - I live in Wisconsin. Brought it in & turned it on - still 98%! Jumpstart your car and all your mobile devices. A must have emergency jumper charger.
With the winter coming, I don't want to be stuck in an emergency and having to look for a boost from strangers or neighbors in the cold or snowy weather. This 2.5lb 66 watt hour 2500amp battery pack and jumper, is one powerhorse that is a must have for any emergency. Charges up via usb type C cable and supplied jumper cables. It's a simple jump starter and battery pack that allows you to jump start your car without having another vehicle available. It is super easy to use! All you need to do is have the pack fully charged and you are prepared for an emergency. I like that it also fits nicely in my glove compartment. This is really an amazing product that every responsible car owner should have. Lightweight and holds a nice charge, and has a flashlight function as well so you can work in the dark or under the hood. Can also be used in an emergency to charge up all your mobile devices in your. ( Even when not in an emergency and your kids just used up their charge watching movies during long trips.) Really has every feature you would need for an emergency. Well worth the price. Jump starter shipped quickly & in perfect condition.

Didn't work, then it worked. Has strange design issues
At first disappointed trying to jump a car that was far smaller than the capacity of this charger. Reading the reviews, it seems the vendor was not very responsive to customer issues. There was one review that noted that the instructions are incorrect--leaving out the step to turn the charger on. This wouldn't seem to be a big deal Everyone knows the charger has to be on to work. What wasn't clear is that it needs to be powered on BEFORE connecting the jumper cables and hooking up to the battery. This is bad design, as the printed instructions should note this. At least the unit should give a warning beep or light if powered on at the wrong part on the process. I still can't figure out why this could even matter, but it did. The other thing that was odd is on the charging cable part, there are warning lights to show different issues to prevent charging. The problem is almost all of them are "two lights and a beep", meaning you will have no idea which problem the lights are indicating. On to the positives. When powered on at the beginning, the car started fine. Battery on the charger went down 3% per charge, so the battery retains charge well. Used it twice successfully now. If any other problems show up I'll update the review.

Great choice and USB-C in/out
I had no particular need for one of these, but once I knew this technology was available I became interested. Then the battery in my work van died and caused a major inconvenience so I decided to do some more research. This happened to be on sale for 50, like a steal in hindsight, and seemed to be a good compromise between features, power, and cost so I pulled the trigger. Great choice! I charged it up, threw it in the van, and practically forgot about it for a month. Today I was curious so I checked the battery level. Still 100%, so I had some hope. But would it actually start my van? I disconnected the red power lead and hooked this up between ground and the lead itself. The van (Chevy Express 4.8L V8) did not even hesitate to start right up with no (vehicle) battery connected at all. So impressed! Best of all, the battery gauge is still at 100! Assuming it's accurate that's awesome. Since it started my van, I know it will make light work of my Kia Soul. I may not need it again soon, but if this helps me or someone I know just one time in the future it'll be worth the money in saved aggravation. I also wanted one specifically with USB-C in and out, since it's 2020 and well just everything should have USB-C by now. Didn't buy it for charging my phone, but it's nice to know I can always use it as a backup power supply if I'm stranded somewhere. Of little use to me is the included 12V power adaptor. Can't think of why I'd personally ever use it, and I would not expect to run a vacuum or something high drain for very long with it. But it is a good bonus especially for the price I paid. The light is so-so, enough for an emergency but again it wasn't a big factor either. Another "just in case" bonus. The only con is that the leads are very short, but that is typical of every brand I looked at. Even so, they were long enough to get the job done and I suppose it saves room in the carry case. Speaking of case, it's actually good quality not some cheap bag. Plenty big so you don't need to smash everything inside, very protective, and zips well. There just isn't any reason to complain about this! 5 stars all day.

A Single Girl's Best Friend!
This was the best gift I could ever give me self. My car would not start. I figured the battery died and it was time for a new. No one was around to give me a jump. I did not have jumping cables. Then I found this portable charger on Amazon. I thought it would charge my battery enough to drive Auto Zone for a new battery. This portable charger is "IMAZING" just like it's name. Easy to use, will charge cell phone, laptop and more. Very safe, attractive and comes in a nice black carrying case for easy storage. Not only was it easy to use it saved me lots of money, time and headaches. It turned out the tail lights would not turn off and drained my batter. It cost me $30 to fix the tail lights. I did not need to buy another $265 battery after all. My car runs like a charm. This charger is the best thing a single girl, or anyone looking for extra insurance, could keep in their vehicle. This charger is truly "IMAZING!"

Tastefully designed, feature-packed, fantastic build quality all at a price few could refuse!
The Imazing IM27 Jump Starter is new in September 2019 and is one of the best Li-Ion Jump Starter I've come across, and I've had many! First - about charging the power bank. Its progress is displayed on the LED display right on the unit. When it is charging properly the last digit flashes to show that everything is working OK. Very reassuring. And it comes out of the box with 97% charged ready to go to work. With my bench DC power supply, it has been confirmed to really pulls 5V and 3A to charge and its current draw drops gradually as it approaches 100%, meaning that it manages its charge using the tried-and-true CC/CV scenario. Nice. Second, the Smart Jumper Cables has the voltage and status display right on its own very legible LED display. Not having to struggle against the twisted jumper cables to look at the LEDs on the power bank. If error conditions surface, they are shown on the display. It also shows the instantaneous voltage. Third, the unit simply feel rugged and well built in the hand. It is also finished to a very high cosmetic standard - the exterior has a rubberized finish with rounded edges which means not only with it not slip from your hand, it will also not slip from an irregular part of the car that it has to sit on during use. The relatively compact size is very easy to fit into the glove box also. All in all, an excellent design and great execution - well done, Imazing! The only wish I have is a longer USB-C QC 3,0 cable so it can more easily reach the cigarette lighter charger. A must have item in every car and there is no better choice for a jump starter on the market!

Useless in the worst kind of emergency - dead battery
There is a glaring omission in how this car jump starter is designed, which made it COMPLETELY USELESS and makes this little more than an expensive power bank. NOTE: This appears to also be an issue with this manufacturer's other offerings, including their newer models--BEWARE!! I do not know if this will jump start in situations where the battery is a little weak. However, if the car battery has been run down to the point that power door lock no longer work or lights don't activate, this jump starter CAN'T HELP YOU because it DOES NOT HAVE A BOOST FEATURE. Boost is necessary for exactly these types of scenarios. This makes this WORTHLESS as an emergency car jump solution, particularly one described as "POWERFUL". I had to have my wife drive over with my old scorpion rated at 400A, and it was able to do what this one could not thanks to its BOOST FEATURE. I honestly did not think I had to look for this, I though this was a basic design feature on car jump starters. I will certainly be watching for this feature from now on, or an explicit statement that the jump started will work in dead battery situations. I honestly do not know if this will help me in a situation where the battery is only weak and not dead. I will be purchasing a known good brand and carry that as well, so I can test this when the time comes and see how badly I've been ripped off. As far a usability, the SAFETY INDICATOR LIGHTS are IMPOSSIBLE to see in any kind of daylight situation. If you are 40 or older, it's very likely you will have trouble using this even in cloudy daytime, and almost impossible in direct daylight. It doesn't matter if the safety features work if you don't know something is wrong. I have not tested the safety features, but given the design oversights so far, I would not be surprised if the tiny little lights are only decorative. At this point, this serves me as nothing more than a heavy power bank. I could have paid less than $25 for one with a higher mAh rating than this, but instead I paid nearly $75. This was one of the biggest rip-offs I've purchased online in a LOOOOONG time, and I regret having followed Amazon's recommendation on this product.
