To start, the primary function of the sweater is to maintain warmth. It does this wonderfully. It even blocks some wind (I was perfectly fine wearing this is in the 28 degrees F, 30 MPH wind in my area).At 6'8" and around 275, the 3XL fits well. The sleeves are a tad bit long (I have 39 for sleeve length), but that is not too much of an issue.The second function is to look smart and professional. This works wonders for you....until you wash it.The elbow and shoulder patch areas immediately started coming off for reasons unknown. I did not see a warning saying not to wash it in a machine. I hang dry the sweater, so it must be the washer destroying the shoulders and elbows. Overall, if you can find a way to wash the sweater without destroying the patch areas, it will be an excellent sweater to wear for both professional and casual outings. If you do not want to worry about it, I will urge you to find something else. Overall, this is a sweater that functions well but has some spots of low quality.

I'll keep it simple. It is a nice sweater, but as some reviewers mentioned, it is tight in the body. I'm 6'9", floating between 265-270 lbs, with a 50" chest, 38-40" waist depending on beer intake, 17 1/2" neck, and 38" sleeves. I ordered a 2x, and I can feel it in the chest and armpits. It's not unbearable, and maybe it will wear in as time goes on, but as of now, it is tight in the chest and collar when the neck is zipped up. It's definitely a warm sweater, the sleeves are plenty long enough, the hem goes down to just at my belt (a normal height person would probably have most of their groin covered by the hem). I did read the reviews on here, and I did go up a size accordingly from my standard XL, but for my own comfort, I think I will reorder in a 3x, just to be certain I'm not getting bound up under my arms. The shoulder and elbow pads haven't been taken through the wash or any heavy rubbing yet, but they appear to be some kind of velvet, likely acrylic, and not sueded leather like some of the negative review pictures (maybe this was a design improvement?).

I wanted a professional looking sweater, simple, go with a name I can trust? Right? Wrong. I unpacked this sweater that arrived on time in a very well packaged box that rest assured everyone else did their best job. First off my wife loved the way it looked on me, it was 'slimming' as I wore it the first day. I have a shift as a security officer, at a medical facility, there is no strenuous activity, I walk about three miles on a shift. I do not walk on my shoulders.I have a backpack, like 99% of the people I know, the 25 feet to my car from home, the 60 feet back and forth to my car at work and the 25 feet to get back into the house. Not much, I know. I added a picture of the straps to show they are of good quality and not fraying or that could do significant damage. I got home after my second day of using this sweater and to my surprise I see the poor quality peaking through on the shoulders. If I had a 50 mile hike with a ruk sack...maybe. not like this. Buyer beware. I have not contacted the vendor of this poor quality, I feel if this is what they shipped me this is what they are shipping everyone. I will fix this myself.Pros. The sweater is warm and slimming, fits as expected, I have the 2xl and it fits on my stature comfortably. I love the zipper and the look of the 1/4 zipper, this is what I was looking for. The sweater itself appears to be of good quality, I was warm the two days I have worked in it. All in all it does the job. If the shoulders did not fray, it would look professional to wear in the office environment and look good.Cons- at this moment the shoulders is the downfall, my appearance is not squared away looking tattered.This is not worth the price, at this moment I would strongly recommend to find another product. I will.

The suede fabric on the elbows ends up coming off and looks patchy and trashy

me: 6’5, fluctuate between 240-250closer to the 250 right about nowi bought the 3XLthoughts:sleeves are great. just rightlength is a bit long but workablethe chest could use an inch or two more, but if u have pecs you’ll love itmy only complaint is the collar-it’s tight. too tight. and it’s not long enuff to flip down like in the picture.i’m hoping it stretches eventually thoi may add a pic laterthe shoulder and elbows are felt so dry-clean onlyi see the size options have 3XL and XXXL- is there a difference? i need a tad more chest and shoulder but overall, good buy by me

I had the opposite issue most people had. It was too large for me. I'm shorter and stickier so here's my measurements. I'm 5'8", 85lbs, 16" neck, 31" waist, from shoulder to wrist 23", colarbone to hips 21". My issue was that it was too long to properly fit. It bunches up in the arms and around my body. If I pull out the major bunches, it covers my hands completely and the entirety of my ass. I'll order a small and see how that fits.

great looking sweater, a a very tight weave of acrylic makes for a comfortable fit. I ordered an xxl, usually take an xl, and it fits fine. by looking at the ends of the sleeves, it is pretty obvious that the sleeves are meant to be folded up. the patch material is flimsy but the wife says she can replace with the real deal when it becomes necessary. this is a great deal for the money. NOTE: the color I received is more of a darker "military green" than what is pictured. Not sure if it would hold up for a "duty" sweater.

I own a number of Rothco products and they're all great, but two things worth noting — I don't see how it's reversible. But then, that was never a reason for me to buy it. I'm a little disappointed that the color from the photo is quite different than the actual product. The actual sweater is a much darker, truer mil spec olive drab. I was hoping the color shown would match the sweater. It may not be that big of a deal for some, but since I own a couple OD colored sweaters, I wanted something that didn't look like the rest of my wardrobe. Well designed, good construction, but the image color is definitely inaccurate.

Too long in the body almost like a skirt

当て布がすぐ痛む。すぐボロボロになりました。いくらなんでも一回しか着てないのに・・・せめてワンシーズンは着回しさせてほしい

他の人が書いている通り、肩と肘の当て布は洗濯するとすぐにボロボロになって、買った事を後悔する事になります。

他の人の投稿どうり袖丈。着丈結構長めでしたが大変暖かですが当方１７０/８０でウエスト９１ｃｍのメタボ体型ですがサイズ的にはＬサイズで無理なく着れます。
