Compact Power for Premium Spaces: The Ideal Fridge for High-End Wellness Environments
We use the ICECO GO20 Dual Zone Refrigerator in our wellness space in Manhattan, where every square foot and every detail matters. In a setting where space is sacred, this unit stands out for its compact, efficient design without compromising performance. Unlike the bulky freezers weโve tested before, the GO20 integrates seamlessly into a refined, high-end environment. Performance-wise, the SECOP compressor is the real differentiator fast cooling, consistent temperature control, and quiet operation, which is critical in a wellness setting where ambiance matters just as much as function. What truly elevates the experience, though, is ICECOโs customer service. They are highly responsive, solution-oriented, and operate with a level of professionalism that matches the quality of the product. If youโre operating in a premium space where design, efficiency, and reliability all matter, this is a strong, well-justified investment.

Reliable Performance Backed by Outstanding Customer Support
The ICECO GO20 Dual Zone fridge has been a great addition for car use, camping, and as a home backup. The dual-zone design is extremely practical โ I can keep drinks cold on one side while freezing food on the other, and the temperature control is accurate and easy to use. It cools quickly and maintains a steady temperature even in warmer conditions. It performs efficiently on 12V in the car without noticeable battery drain, and its compact size makes it easy to fit while still holding a good amount of food and drinks. For camping, itโs a huge upgrade over traditional coolers, and itโs also been very useful at home when extra fridge or freezer space is needed. The build quality feels solid, and the brand clearly stands behind what they make, which gives extra confidence in long-term use. Overall, this is a dependable and well-designed portable fridge that I would highly recommend.

Overall OK
I'm adding an edit to the review below. The company reached out to me after this review and sent me a replacement (free of charge) adapter. It fits more securely now - and should keep the 'frig running smoothly durning long periods of driving. So, it was a great customer service experience. With my stimulus money in hand, and a long year inside over, I've decided it is time to get out for a few camping trips. Looking at my almost antique collection of gear - it seemed time for an upgrade. So, I thought replacing my old cooler with a smaller, more modern, portable refrigerator would be great. Because I was lucky enough to have a little extra cash I thought I'd go for a top of the line product. I came across all the Iceco reviews and advertisements on the web and Youtube and thought it would be a little less expensive (than a Dometic), but still good quality, and with the extra budgeted money I could get a solar powered battery charger like a Jackery or Rockpals. That said here's my experience after a couple of trips with the new Iceco 12.8 size. It arrived from Amazon in a box so big it took up most of the Postman's delivery Jeep. The box was so big I couldn't see my mailman as he carried the thing up to my door. Inside the Amazon box the Manufactures box kept the refrigerator secure. Which was a good thing because amazon just put in their typical two air pillows to keep the box within from sliding around. Why didn't amazon just slap a label on the manufacture box instead of such a crazy double box? Although that's Amazon and not the manufactures fault. The Iceco worked great when I plugged it into the wall and let it run for a couple of days at home. No problems. If you want a small icebox in a dorm or tiny home this would be perfect! HOWEVER, when I plugged the unit into my cars cigarette lighter socket I had problems. For the first few hours it worked great. After an afternoon of driving the cooler started giving me an E1 error and stopped running. After trying different configurations, I was able to plug the refrigerator into my Rockpals using the adapter and adapter power cable. As long as the Rockpals was charged the Iceco worked. (Just one problem - the Rockpals doesn't provide power while it is being recharged. If it's recharging via solar power my Rockpals can take up to 8 hours on a sunny day). On a hot day, the Iceco stayed cooler than the outside temp, but I wouldn't trust it with easily spoiled food like meats or dairy after being unplugged for that long. I've tried it a couple more times - and the 12V/24V DC power cable (cigarette lighter end) is loose and any normal road movement causes it to be disconnected. My vehicle is a 2019 Prius so it rides pretty smoothly. I am, and drive like, an old lady. So for it to be so delicate as to disconnect while the vehicle is in motion makes it less than portable in my book. The finial disappointment - and this is part my fault for not visualizing better - although I did measure the area twice..... I purchased the smallest size because I thought from my measurements that it would fit behind the passenger seat. Which it really doesn't. If the Prius passenger seat is pushed fully forward I can put box on the floor and muscle the Iceco behind the seat but that really doesn't give the refrigerator enough space to vent and the lid doesn't open enough to be useful. The inside capacity of the12 litter Iceco is pretty small for such a big case, but I knew that going in. I wanted to mention it in closing in case you are on the fence about which size to get. Might as well get the slightly bigger capacity and figure out what other item you want to leave home to make room for the refrigerator.

It's a Portable Refrigerator!
This smallish cooler is light enough that it doesn't take big muscles to lift or move which makes it very versatile. We use it on every road trip. It seems to be very durable and the top clicks shut wonderfully. It will hold at least 18 - 1/2 liter bottles standing upright. The cooler gets to temperature within 4 minutes and cycles on - off to hold temperature within a range of about 5 degrees from setting. The fact that the whole area can be used as a freezer makes this even better. We live in a rural area and are about 90 miles from the warehouse club. Now we are able to purchase frozen items and make the trip home without any thaw. I have also used a portable 12V power generator to keep the cooler running overnight. The phone app makes it very easy to set or change temperatures when the cooler is in the cargo section. After 2 years of use, I have no negative issues to report, which is a testament to the quality of this unit.

Really nice little frig if your wanting a second one in your big truck.
Edit: Iโm not going to change the rating but I do want to l leave and update about a problem I had which apparently some other reviewers also had. While I was away from the truck, the cigarette lighter plug popped out of the socket to the AC adaptor the refrigerator came with. It doesnโt seem to lock in very well, probably because the spring for the tip is too strong. Fortunately I saw the problem before my food spoiled but it could have been bad. I fixed to problem by wrapping electrical tape around the connection point to hold them together but frankly, I should not have needed to do that. Iceco should really address that as it also pops out when plugged into a cigarette lighter socket. Still think itโs a very good refrigerator otherwise. So bought the GO20 to use as a 2nd refrigerator/freezer for use in my Peterbilt 579. For the space that it needed to occupy and the price, it seemed to be the best option. I will say, that if your putting it in a standard 579 like mine versus and Ultraloft, and have a 24โ TV mounted to the standard mount that comes in the Peterbilt, you will need to attach a swivel mount and have the tv at and angle while traveling. In theory based on the dimensions it should fit without the modification but the angle of the back corner of the wall as well as the need to keep the grill on the refrigerator clear means your shy about and inch for all practical purposes. It will fit but it pushes on the tv pretty solidly and a few bumps down the road are going to break the tv. A 22โ tv or smaller shouldnโt need any modifications. The refrigerator has and app to control it on iOS and Android. Iโm iOS so I canโt speak to Android functionality but on the iPhone it works flawlessly. Iโve seen some other people complain they couldnโt pair the refrigerator with their phone but my experience is you donโt need to. Once you install the app, when itโs near the refrigerator, it just seeโs it without needing to go into the Bluetooth menu and pairing. I think itโs using something akin to Ultra Wide Band versus standard Bluetooth to connect. Thereโs a whole thing in the book about how to calibrate the temp settings versus a thermometer but I didnโt need to do that. The super chill feature will get the left side down to close to zero in about 45 minutes and it will freeze water bottles rather quickly. I find its easiest to set parameters in the app versus on the touch pad on the refrigerator. Everything on mine already came using American units but that can be switched in the app if your feeling French. Reliability in the truck is a mixed bag. It seems to have a hard time maintaining temps when plugged into the cigarette lighter when the truck has been off for a while and I think that has everything to do with the the battery protection built in. It just doesnโt do a good job of sending the actual voltage so even when you set the refrigerator to the lowest protection level, it wants to think your available voltage is lower than it is and Iโm running 1kw of solar panels. Thatโs the bad. The good is that if you have a decent true sine wave inverter like a Xantrax or the one that comes with a Tripac, it will run off of that and all those issues go away. It will not work on a normal inverter like what most of the truck stops sell and if youโve got a small auxiliary true sine wave inverter, like the little 300 watt one Iโm running itโs going to pop itโs protection circuit. My 1000/1500 watt Xantrax seems to be able to run this, a 1000 watt microwave and a couple of battery chargers no problem at the same time. If your going to buy this to use in a truck like I did, your either going to want to buy the grey one that comes with the insulating bag or if you just have to have white, splurge on the bag for $59. The refrigerator is very shiny and the space between the wall and the mattress is tight with a small knob sticking out for the passenger sleeper window. Your going to scratch the heck out of it without the bag. The thing seems to be very energy efficient but Iโm guessing the insulated bag helps a lot. Shipping time was not good. It took almost three months to get to me so I am just a bit worried if it needs warranty. Iโm guessing that has a lot to do with COVID 19 so Iโll just hope it stays reliable. There where a couple other options I found that would have been a slightly better fit but the amount of storage in them wasnโt as good. There where some others that where using the good compressor that this frig uses that also would have fit and have decent room inside but they where all way more expensive. Shiny plastic shell aside, the GO20 seems to be a well designed machine and it is sturdy. If it holds up which I think it will, itโs dollar for dollar the best bang for the bucks Iโve found and I looked long and hard. I think if your looking for and extra truck frig, you probably canโt go wrong with this frig.

Buy this for an easier life.
This machine is fabulous. Great for car trips, grocery runs, beach days. Itโs especially useful when paired with the Iceco magnetic battery and the protective cover that allows for portability without worry. Itโs quiet, efficient, and fits nicely in the car. I had this machine for two years when the temperature sensor began acting up. Iceco replaced the unit, even though it was out of warranty. They stand by this product. I will never mess with an ice chest again. This is so much better.

ICECO seriously drops the ball on this one.
I set it to the most basic mode of 0F freezer, 39F fridge. After running for a while to cool down, It states that the freezer is 0F and the fridge is 39F, even though the freezer is more like 10 degrees according to multiple thermometers. Then the fridge drops all the way to 32 (freezing) and the freezer is still around 10F even though the display says 0F. I let it run for another hour. Now the display still says the temps are 0F/39F, but the freezer is 0F and the Fridge is 30F (freezing). I guess if I want my ice cream frozen, I get frozen veggies too. Tried to get tech support, and customer service sends me an email to reply to, and I have to hope tech support ever calls me back. Tried it on single zone mode, and the compressor pulls almost 70 watts and sounds like a baby rattle, even when the fridge has reached it's set temperature, and the compressor is just cycling to maintain the temp. I don't think this is really a dual zone fridge. I think it just cools the freezer side some fixed amount more and prays that the temps just work out. I don't think this has any sort of intelligent temperature sensing and valve control on the cooling for the two zones. If it does have real dual zone control, then its performance is particularly sad. The zone divider fits rather loosely, and likely does a very poor job of isolating the temperatures of the two sizes. Sometimes the display and app show nonsense temperatures, such as -8 degrees for the fridge size, or big temp jumps of 10+ degrees. There is no firmware update in the app, so perhaps ICECO never plans to fix anything with this fridge. The touch buttons are very flakey. You have to press them with just the right amount of force to get them to work. I have very little confidence that the buttons will last. Finally, if they just made it an inch taller, a gallon or half gallon of milk would fit. I guess they don't want it competing with the next larger size fridge. I would give this fridge zero stars if I could, especially as it is expensive, and made by what is supposed to be a reputable brand. Returning after one day of evaluation.

Best little fridge setup you can have
I purchased my GO20 in June of 2023 and it has been in constant use for 2 yr and 10 months. I have it set up and powered by my Bluetti AC200 MAX which is able to keep it going for a week. As a senior (84) who no longer uses his RV, I wanted an emergency option during power failures and my setup did save some ice cream and other frozen food during a 4 day power outage. Normally I set the GO20 to 10 C, and keep my produce in it. Bananas will keep for a week. It is a great fridge and the customer service has been fantastic. You won't go wrong with the G020

So far so good
We had a different brand of cooler that we raved about until it quit after 3 seasons. A few other campers expressed no surprise at that and recommended ICECO. So far we are very pleased. It is well made and performed well its first season. Time will tell
