Why does the heating element change color?

This is because a half-circle heating process is used, which concentrates the heat. At high temperatures, an oxide film forms on the surface, resulting in a specific color.

How to remove limescale?

Add an appropriate amount of white vinegar and salt to the kettle, then add about 200ml of water and boil it. After boiling, let it soak for at least 30 minutes. After pouring out the water, you can remove the limescale with a scouring pad.

The base station is unresponsive and won't power on at all. How can I fix this?

This situation might be caused by water getting into the connection between the base and the outer pot. You can try drying it with a hairdryer. You may also try rotating the outer pot to see if it's a connection issue.

Can this tea maker be used to brew coffee?

Using a tea basket to brew coffee is not recommended; the mesh at the bottom has relatively large openings, and the basket is designed specifically for brewing tea.
