Works like a charm
I got this to use with my steel NATO gas can. I was worried that it would leak a little when pouring. It’s tight as a drum and there has been no spillage from the sealing point at the mouth of the can or all along the length of the flexible hose. I am more than pleased.

Works as advertised for the Wavian Gas can
The Wavian gas came with a different pour spout that would be for keeping spills and sealed between use and used a push nozzle to release and allow for flow of fuel. However when you are filling things like generators this push nozzle type head doesn't work well and causes huge problems and spills. This nozzle corrects that issue by not having the push lock nozzle but also a great bendable neck that allows you to slow the pour from a heavy jerry can.I would recommend this to anyone that needs a solid quick attachment for the Wavian can for easy pouring operation. Great stuff.

Fits LCI (Lexington Container) NATO cans
I have a couple of the LCI NATO cans I bought years ago that are essentially identical to the Wavian cans AFAIK (built to NATO interoperability spec). I use them now with a Jeep JKU and the standard spouts are just barely adequate for refueling (requires a bit of gymnastics to drain completely). This spout latches firmly to the LCI can and allows complete drainage of the can without weird contortions and body strain to hold the can at an awkward angle. The fit is tight, and the powder coating scraped off the latch portion upon the very first use, but for me these cans and their accessories are not fashion items - they actually get used, so I don't care about scraped paint. As people have mentioned, the flexible portion of the spout is raw metal and will rust (like many old-school flexible gas can spouts). Just coat it with a thin film of oil when you first get it, and then keep it wrapped in a linseed oilcloth (if in a ventilated area) or a heavy duty zip loc bag after all fumes have dissipated (if carried inside your vehicle).

HUGE improvement over the stock nozzle
The stock nozzle is tough to work with. You have to insert it in the fuel filler and then press down to release the fuel. All this while balancing a very heavy Jerry Can. This Flexible nozzle is GREAT. Because its flexible, it is easy to insert in the fuel filler hole. It fits perfectly, then you can raise the jerry can for the fastest possible fill. I bought two just in case. But its very sturdy and well made.

Should be what the cans came with in the first place
WAY WAY better than what they ship with from Wavian in the USA

Poor quality control.
Very expensive for what it is. Like the other reviews, mine leaked pretty bad. There is a photo in the reviews showing a split in the metal hose exactly like the one I received.I have 3 Wavian gas cans with different nozzles that don't leak. I know how to seat and seal the nozzles properly. It looks like the flexible hose was crimped too tight at the base which caused a small split in the metal flexible hose. I ended up welding the split and soldering the base and tip connections to the hose. It doesn't leak anymore, but I expected better quality at that price.

Works great on Wavian cans. Will not work on Gelg Cans
Works great on my Wavian Diesel can but bayonet fitting will not engage on my Gelg cans.

The cost is justified by performance.
Well made, easy to install. Most importantly, it did not leak. In my experience most all of this type spout that I've used have leaked. I thought the price was a bit high, buy given the performance of this spout the price is OK.
