This is a great mid point backgammon set. Very nicely made. The outside of the case is faux leather with neat stitching. Internally, the base of the board and the home slots are all felt lined. There's a slot for the die which is also felt lined.The points are faux leather and securely attached to the board, although I suspect, in time some will inevitably need re- glueing. The checkers are solid plastic and feel firm and secure during play.There are also two traditional (faux?) leather dice shakers.A nice touch is the two sets of colour matched die (red and white) to match the checkers. For the advanced player there is also a doubling cube.There are basic rules included, but you would benefit from downloading a set from one of the game's governing bodies.Highly recommended

This is better than I expected. A good size board and nicely made. I believe it's returned stock, and mine had a popper that needed glueing back on but otherwise perfect and I'm not bothered by one small fault for this price.

This set is a birthday present for my grandson. We started playing backgammon over the past few months, and he has become an almost addict, he still devotes a lot of his time to playing on his ipad. It should last him as long as my set that I bought over fifty two years ago

Craftsmanship is lacking in this, not well made.

Excellent backgammon set! Nice and big, well-made, love the colors and contrast. Easy to carry—but for travel, we actually prefer a smaller size to take with us. We’ll keep this one at home, will store easily. Great price for such a beautiful well-made set. Was a Christmas present for my husband and he was very impressed. Arrived on time (even early).

Cheaply made handle came away counters hard to move and playing board cheap quality do not recommend got refund from Amazon

I purchaed this for my 23 year old son, I was very impressed with the set and craftmanship- however on the front of the case is embossed in the leather case 'grow smart' and a picture of an owl-this makes the set more aimed for a younger customer, and not really for an adult- but would anyone spend £50 on a childs back gammon set? I think the company should possibly re-think this, as i sent mine back for a refundBut as i say other than this the set is very good.

I spent ages looking for the right Backgammon Set for myself and my partner. I found it! It's well made and feels nice to the touch. The game closes into a briefcase making it an ideal travel companion. Very happy with this product.

Ho ordinato il prodotto 2 volte e due volte l'ho dovuto restituire. Nel primo caso il prodotto , invece del colore delle punte rosse all'interno del gioco,aveva le punte rosa. La se volta il prodotto aveva le pedine rosse sparse con la plastica che le custodiva rotta e separata dal contenuto. Il colore delle punte rosse ancora una volta era rosa tendente al fucsia. Mi dispiace perché era il regalo per mio nipote che dovrà rassegnarsi ad avere un regalo diverso. Sconsiglio l'acquisto di questo prodotto!!!!!

I recently fell back into playing backgammon after almost 20 years. I had bought my kids one of those 10 games in 1 type sets and in that set was a very tacky replica of a backgammon board/chips. When I rediscovered my love for the game I searched for a while before I made the purchase because I was not 100% sure I'd get a lot of use out of it or have the time etc. I saw this set and the price was amazing and I thought to myself hmmm this probably will be some cheap set and I'll get a better one later. I was so WRONG! this set is GREAT! I have already played 10 or more times. With the case it comes in I take it with me to the lake house pool and we play for hours. It's great fun I have taught my kids and some new friends I have made at the pool. It's been a terrific addition and it's good to connect with people again as they put the screens away and for a moment we connect with good old fashion fun. Thanks to the mfg for a great affordable product, I could not be happier!
