Chinese Traditional Calligraphy Brush/Chinese Calligraphy Watercolor Sumi Drawing Brush-Large brush (Sheep Wolf Mix)

Quality brush. Came as an individual brush, not a set. It doesn't seem to be losing a lot of hair, as most new brushes do. It's the right tool for larger Calligraphy and Bamboo painting, it fits the job perfectly, any other size would take a lot more effort. Comes to a great point.

Five different textures give a lot of variety of use. From wash to bamboo/orchid leaves, these will be very useful for medium to large paintings.

One brush fell apart immediately due to insufficient glue and probably not the optimal glue for the job. The black plastic housing presents a large void that would require a copious amount of glue to retain the bristle fur. A little dab is all that is used. The handle is not inserted far enough into the black housing, thus there is insufficient surface area overlap for proper glue adhesion. Other than that it's okay (joke).

So pleased with the quality of these brushes. They load a lot of glaze, and can deliver a very delicate point. Really happy with this purchase.

I am learning to paint larger realistic modern abstract and brought these to try them out.The only thing I don't like is the loose hairs but I find that in other brushes too. Glad Ibought them.
