The author even provides some basic ideas for beginners as well as for advanced users to achieve complicated DIY projects that can easily be done using the cricut machine. A guide to Cricut Maker
Great basic guide book on features of Cricut Maker. It gives general information on various functions and terms used. If you are looking for a general overview of what the Maker can do, this is it. It does not provide you with more detailed instructions on more complex features or directions for these complex features, so don’t expect that from this book.

Not what it was cracked up to be.
As a newbie with a Cricut Explore Air 2, I thought this book would be more helpful with the use of Design Space. To be honest I am disappointed. The write up (sales pitch) for this book was way better than the book. The majority of what is discussed is basic knowledge and gained me very little more than I already knew. If your looking for a book to get you started and help to navigate the use of Design Space, this is not the book. If your looking for a book that tells you what you get when you buy a Cricut Maker, this may be your book. I wouldn't suggest anyone wasting money on this. There is surely a book out there which is more informative on how to interact between the machine and the software. That's the book I wanted in the first place. Save your money, don't purchase this one.

Bought for my Wife to accompany a Cricut Machine bought for her Birthday other reviews suggested this might be helpful but while it might help some it was definitely not suitable for someone new to a Cricut to use as for hobby purposes primarily.
