As always, I'm a bit (ok, highly) skeptical when I see something that looks identical to an Insta-famous article of clothing for such a low price. I decided to take a chance on this skirt and I'm so glad I did! It looks exactly like the picture (and all the ones on social media!), it fit me true to size (I'm 5'5" 140 lbs - most of it carried on my bottom half- and Medium size through and through). The elastic waistband means you can pull it up for a high waisted look that falls just below the knee or pull it down to your low hip and make it more of a maxi skirt.Does it have a simple elastic waistband? Yeah. Is it real silk? Heavens no. Is it thin material? Yup - but not see through. At. All. Is it shiny & polyester? You betcha. But that, IMHO, is what makes it look and act like real silk. Seriously, once it's on, it looks so luxe. And it's perfect for summer being so light and airy. Hmm maybe even in the colder months, too, with tights and tall boots...Anyway, I really wish there were more patterns and colors in this style of skirt bc I would snap them all up in a heartbeat

My waist is 29.5in and hips are 40in, this skirt fits perfectly, if you are any wider size up because there is not much stretch! For the price of this skirt the quality is 5 stars in my opinion! Sweater is also on amazon

TL;DR: If you're on the fence about buying this skirt, buy it, it's awesome. Go with your usual size.I was a little hesitant to pull the trigger on this skirt. I read mixed reviews and knew if I didn't love it, I'd end up keeping it anyways because I'm terrible about returning things. But I'm so glad I ended up purchasing because this skirt is literally the best piece I have ever ordered from Amazon when it comes to clothing. The quality is really nice and the high-waisted fit is very flattering. (And you can't do better than this price point -- trust me, I looked.) This skirt literally looks good with everything. I styled with a white t-shirt (also from Amazon, I have a problem), denim jacket and wedges for a casual look for work. Pair it with a graphic band t-shirt and Vans for ~trendier~ look. Throw on a black tank top with this skirt and put on a pair of strappy black, heeled sandals and you've got yourself a look for a night out on the town. I will say it slides down just a little, but an extra small would definitely be too small for me. In things with an elastic waistband, I'm either a small or a medium. Buy the skirt, you'll be happy you did.

I am very impressed with this skirt! The material is definitely cheap and you can see the threading in some places, but it looks great on and is so cute!!

Love this skirt and was exactly what I was looking for to wear on a summer night out! I ordered size Small (S), and am 5’0. 28 waist, 38 hips and small fit me perfectly. It’s hard for me to find longer skirts since I am short and curvy and I am usually between a S or M size for bottoms since I have bigger hips. But this skirt is awesome. The skirt has an elastic black band inside to keep it in place on your waist but it is not super tight relaxed and has lots of stretch room, making it super comfortable to wear. I can fit a whole hand and more under. The material is silky to the touch and thin, but not sheer so it will keep you cool.If you’re on the fence about getting it, BUY IT. Just make sure to follow the sizing chart. It’s a really good piece and I am definitely going to wear it lots this summer!

Looks amazing. Fits true to size. I’m 125pl, 5.5” and got the small which was just perfect. Beautiful skirt. Looks exactly like the one I saw for $169! I’m super pleased with this one!

The media could not be loaded.  I honestly read every single review on this skirt, I was very hesitant because of the fit and quality, I search online for a skirt like this and they did not have my size or if they did it was too expensive , i decided to give it a try and order an XL . For your information : I am 5’4 , weight 178 and I have wide hips , I mean this is not the best quality skirt or with the best tailoring but it looks cute and with the right shirt and shoes should look much better, you can wear it high or low . Now $28 dollars is not a high price but for the skirt quality and tailored it should be $20 but again it just my opinion.

I bought this wanting to wear it during the summer with sneakers and a white tee but since im Short it didn't look as I expected but I wore it with heels during the winter and it looked much better.The fabric is great for the price I was not expecting it to be that good. It's not see through even though it only has one layer of fabricI'm 5 feet tall and weigh 130

Since the sizing was Asian and not Western, I sized up based on sizing chart. However since the skirt is high waisted, it doesn’t necessary need to be sized up. All depends on on your waist to hip ratio. Anyhow not a big deal, I like the flowy look and had the waist taken in a bit. Price point of skirt was reasonable and the quality is good. Stylish and can be worn in many ways, causal to dressy.

It is literally dollar store quality . The fabric itself is beautiful but it is too bad that workmanship is extremely poor . I didn’t want to give any star but then it doesn’t get submitted . I have to give 1 star but truly it is no star.

I've been wanting to buy a similar skirt but, was kind of expensive. This one looked similar and its great! I received a lot of compliments at work with this skirt. I already got a fellow coworker ordering one. :)

The item came as described and looked like the picture. It is thin, cheap material but for the price it looks really nice on and fits well.

Thin material that is on the verge of being see-through but very cute and well worth the price
