I read some reviews that this basket didn't hold it's shape well or stand up well. I've had it for three years with two kids tossing clothes at it and it's holding it's shape excellently. The handles have held up to lugging it up and down stairs when it's completely full. I'm about to order a second one so they each have their own.

I wanted something to hold the extra blankets we use when watching TV. This was way taller than expected. So I folded down the top to make it the height I needed. This was no easy task due to the high quality of the materials. I am happy with the purchase.

We've used this for a couple of years now and it's held up very well, It still looks good, holds a lot of clothes, and ... well, that's kinda all hampers do, huh? Oh yeah, we can drag it by the handles. It's an extremely hampy hamper.

This basket is great and of solid quality. I was not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. The basket also holds quite a lot.

Be aware that what comes out of the box is NOT what you see in the product photos. The fabric basket has been folded and compressed.(See my photos for a side-by-side before and after, since we bought two.) The instructions that come with it say that you need to stuff it with laundry, steam iron it for 30 minutes, and leave it to set for 24-48 hours.Some frustrating aspects of this:--It takes A LOT of laundry to stuff this basket tightly enough to fill out the form enough to even kind of round out the flat edges. I ended up needing: multiple (4+) sets of sheets, a big bathrobe, and two weeks' worth of laundry for me, as well as a few towels and a couple of washcloths. (Upside of that information is that it holds PLENTY of laundry!)--I don't know about yours, but my iron doesn't hold enough water to steam for a half hour straight, so I had to iron until I ran out of water, let the iron cool, fill it back up, and then iron for 12 more minutes.--If your water leaves mineral deposits, you'll want to use distilled, which means a trip to the store.--Also, irons don't work vertically, so you have to lay it on its side and iron it while rotating it and making sure that what all you stuffed in there stays stuffed in there.--You have to invert it while stuffed so as to iron the bottom to make it flat so it stands up.

......but realized it holds bascially the same amount of clothes that my plastic hamper does. My complaint is that the bottom sort of caves in on itself because it is fabric. I would suggest they make it with something to just go around the inner bottom of it to reinforce the shape of it. Also I like to sit on the couch and fold laundry and this is pretty deep so once you get to the clothes at the bottom of the hamper it can be a bit awkward to get them out. Otherwise it looks good and it seems to be made well. I would recommend.

Beautiful, thick and well made hamper. Huge!, tons of room for clothes and durable handles that don't seem they'd ever break. So happy with this purchase!

Followed the instructions, filled it with towels, steamed it and let it dry for 48 hours. It retains its shape until you put in the first damp towel or clothing. Looks good when it is not slumped over.

I love the material this hamper is created from, really sturdy and easy to use.
