Is the glove clip ring easy to take out?

As a construction worker, I am not sure if the construction helmet I use the glove clip buckle on my waist?

I can open this clip about an inch. Maybe a little more. But it opens anout an inch so if the gloves are within That then yes it will hold. Hope this helps! These clips are great been using about 8months no issues
