I’m a 36 waist and 29 in length 40r jacket, what size would be best? i don’t mind having to hem the pants. thanks!

My fiancé is about 175 weight and 6’1” ish. He is about a 34/34 in pants, but has incredibly long arms. We ended up buying a medium at first, the vest fit flawlessly, but the arms were a bit short on the jacket, and the pants looked really good in length and waist fit, but were tight in the groin. So we sized up to a large. Had to get the waist of the pants taken in just a bit. And the jacket/vest are also a little loose fitting for a “slim fit.” But if you have an inexpensive seamstress, like we do. It’s worth it. I think if there was a 1/2 size between medium and large, it would have been perfect. I would say with your waist size a large would be the way to go, and just hem the pants.

As good as Express!

Very surprised with the quality, I have a couple “Express” suits and this one fits better, is heavier (in a good way), and just WOW for the price. I’m 5’9” and 165lbs with an athletic build. I usually wear a 30w-32L jean.I got the size SMALL and for the price fits great! The pants are Slightly large on me In the waist (nothing I can’t live with and I am rather particular about having clothes that fit well.)- the length is good! Jacket fits nicely, it is perfectly slim- the sleeves are EVER so slightly short- again, nothing that is terribly concerning considering the price. Would absolutely recommend to anyone for the price!

Great Suit

This is an absolutely amazing suit for the price, it just happened to fit me almost PERFECTLY. I wore this suit to a wedding and it was a head turner for sure, I was receiving compliments all night people thought I spent hundreds of dollars on it.

Size too big

The size that was recommended by Amazon was too big. I tried doing my own measurements but it wasn’t matching up to what they had for sizing. Returning to get a smaller size but other than that the suite is nice.

Don’t go with size small

I went with a small due to the reviews. The jacket and the vest fits but the jacket is a little tight. The pants are much too small. I weigh 150 and my height is 5’11. I would suggest a medium for anyone with my build.
