Silk Route Spice Company Peri Peri Sauce Extra Hot 250ml

Personally, I haven't tried as many Piri Piri sauces and thus have taken this sauce to share with my work colleagues to give a better more objective review. I liked the taste profile of this Piri Piri sauce and have found the heat to be just right, it is spicy enough to be considered extra hot by most definitions. My colleagues agreed with me in regards with the taste, they liked it as well, however, all of them like seriously spicy food (Ghost Pepper, Trinidad Scorpion, etc. sauces) which are usually too spicy for most people so to them naturally this was not extra spicy. I would say that extra spicy rating of this sauce is in line with most store-bought extra spicy sauces. The lemon taste is pronounced but is not overpowering and goes perfectly with chicken. The taste profile is full-bodied and perfectly balanced, not too salty, not too sweet, not excessively spicy that it ruins the taste and I would say it struct a sweet spot. However, given the asking price (£6) I would say that it is overpriced as there is plenty of competition for much less, my colleagues agreed.

Very mild. This is not spicy so why lable it as extra hot? Absolutely no heat, competing ketchup u fortunately.

We found this sauce to be decent, enough heat and a good flavour but not £5.99 worth compared to other brands and types of hot sauce. It's a nice one to give as a hostess type gift or as a funny stocking filler but for yourself I'd save a quid or three. If you're looking for something extremely hot then this isn't for you.

This sauce does taste great, quite tangy but a nice flavour - it’s just that we expected a lot more spice to it! For being extra hot we were expecting quite a punch but ended up being disappointed. So if you are used to spicy sauces and like the heat this isn’t going to satisfy that. It is however a nice dipping sauce or topping sauce. Haven’t tried to marinade anything in it yet, but it does go great with chicken.

Schärfe ist natürlich sehr subjektiv. Für unsere Verhältnisse ist die Sauce nicht so sehr scharf. Wer sich also einen richtigen Rachenbrenner erwartet wird enttäuscht sein. Was die Sauce nicht hat, ist der extrem säuerliche Beigeschmack anderer Produkte. Dies empfinde ich als großen Vorteil. Die Sauce eignet sich pur zu zB Burgern oder auch verfeinern von Gerichten. Wir haben sie auch schon als Marinade für Grillhuhn verwendet.

Zum Testen gab es mal was scharfes "Silk Route Spice Company Peri Peri Peri Sauce Extra scharf". Für gewöhnlich nehme ich zum Schärfen meiner Nudel Soße "Sambal Oelek". Die "Silk Route Spice Company Peri Peri Peri Sauce Extra scharf" kenne ich nicht und probierte Sie, in dem ich einen Tropfen vom Löffel probierte. Vor laute Schärfe konnte ich nicht sagen, ob Sie schmeckt oder ekelhaft ist. Mit Gewürzen und dieser "Silk Route Spice Company Peri Peri Peri Sauce Extra scharf" habe ich eine Nudel Soße zubereitet, joar schön scharf, je nach dem noch nachgeschärft wird, ist die Soße genießbar - oder auch nicht.

Diese Sauce kommt sicher und gut verpackt an. Die extra scharfe Sauce ist wirklich extra scharf. Es passt hervorragend zu gegrilltem Fleisch. Da ich persönlich scharfes Essen mag ist diese Sauce perfekt für mich und darf beim Grillen nicht mehr fehlen. Ich bin von der schärfe und auch vom Geschmack überzeugt.

Die scharfe Peri Peri Sauce kam gut verpackt und sicher an. Wer ein fan von Schärfe ist, ist genau richtig bei dem Piri Piri und sollte es mal ausprobieren. Ich esse gerne Schärfe zb. bei Reisgerichten und Eintöpfe. Ihr könnt die Sauce nach eurem Belieben bei jedem Gericht verwenden und zum Kochen benutzen, wie ich es auch gerne mache. Bei mir ist sie haltbar bis 30.10.2020 Es ist auch eine schöne Geschenkidee an die Schärfe Liebhaber.

Ich bin ein riesen Tabasco Fan und kann mir die scharfe Soße fast in jedem Gericht vorstellen. Meine Freunde und meine Familie sagen schon das meine Zunge tot sein muss :-). Ich wollte mal was neues ausprobieren und hab mir die Peri Peri Sauce Extra scharf von Silk Route bestellt. Die Soße kommt für mein empfinden nicht an Tabasco ran, ist aber ein guter Ersatz dafür. Ich glaube auch das die Peri Peri Sauce für den neutralen Geschmack besser ist, da sie keinen großen eigen Geschmack hat, nicht so wie Tabasco.
