What are sous vide bags made of?

The sous vide bags are made of 4 layers; the outside layer is nylon which ensures an air-tight seal, and the inside layers are low density polyethylene which are food grade, FDA approved, designed specifically for sous vide and food storage.

Are sous vide bags safe?

Although some types of plastics are found to leach unsafe chemicals, we recommend to use food-grade sous vide bags because they're BPA-Free and made of polyethylene.

How to clean and reuse sous vide bags?

We recommend cleaning thoroughly with a sponge or cloth and mild detergent. If raw meats were used sterilize the bag by soaking in a solution of one part bleach to ten parts water for two minutes. Rinse and allow to dry completely before re-use.

Someone said these bags leak in a sous vide bath, what should I do to avoid that?

Use provided clamps to attach the bags to the cookware to keep the valve above the water, water will not enter the bag. (User manual included for reference)
