If you got a red laser mouse: don't buy this.
It feels nice. The codon decorative design is nice. However, this product gets a 1 star if you got a red laser mouse. The white/black design causes the receiver to the laser to "misread" and the mouse cursor will go all over the place. The purpose of mouse pad is to use with a mouse. This causes red laser mice hardware to screw up. Would not buy. Attempting a refund

Has a mistake....
For tyrosine Th (T) is printed instead of Tyr (Y). Very annoying mistake since I use this pad while working on protein-coding DNA sequences.

One little mistake
Very comfortable and easy to read due to a high print quality. My only problem is that they marked both Threonine and Tyrosine as being represented by the letter T, when Tyrosine should be represented by the letter Y, so there is a mistake on the mouse pad. Other than that though it’s great!

Exactly what you'd expect, nothing more, nothing less
Perfect size, decent print quality, normal pad thickness, proper texture for the mouse--all good! And it's a great theme for my biology lab job. For size comparison, my mouse is bigger than standard. It fits my palm and is ergonomic.
