The best saw I didn’t know I needed
I am a TV aerial installer so use this for cutting aerial masts either in situ on a chimney that needs decommissioning or new masts to size from the van and sometimes brackets that are otherwise impossible to remove, very expensive hacksaw but has made my life so much easier cut through masts in seconds rather than ages with a hacksaw, especially when what needs cutting is above me

Really good tool the batteries last 4 ages the blades do to even tho they are expensive I have 2 of these my first one lasted me 4 years and just packed in but it's worth the money

Great Cutter but why no Blade cover as standard
I bought this bandsaw for work expecting, I use Makita tools all the time and have come to expect a high quality and safe piece of equipment, so I was somewhat bemused why this Bandsaw does not come with a Blade/Wheel cover as standard, in the manual it states that the Cover is an optional extra, now I'm sure the HSE would be very interested to know why Makita would sell a cordless Bandsaw with an exposed rotating blade to anyone.This machine is now totally unsafe to use until I buy the "optional" extra Blade/Wheel covering, to be honest I'm speechless why this is not standard, safety should never ever be an optional extra.
