I've had this for over 2 years. Pretty easy to put together it's been pretty sturdy use it everyday. Holds up to maybe 10 to 12 pairs of shoes or more. It's dirty enough to be able to sit on for a 240 lb male and put your shoes on. Keeps the shoes out of the way in a pretty stylish fashion.

Low quality very soft wood, minor flaws. It looks ok once assembled. The people who had crooked doors probably just didn't understand the adjustments - they really are very adjustable - up, down, front back, tilt... Customer service is responsive. Assembly was a bit of a pain - the instructions didn't call out the bottom plate orientation and I didn't notice one side had screw wells, and installed it upside down so had to start over. This wasted a little time, so it probably took about 2.5 hrs all told? But I wasn't really counting, or rushing - I think it probably could be done in 1 if you really wanted to. The top box, sides, and doors are all wood (low quality, very soft) but the other panels are veneer, and it's kind of bubbly looking. The foot pads were oversized and had to be cut down. There were some miscellaneous and fairly minor defects - nothing too big a deal, and a minor misalignment of the lid on the top. The hinge on the top is ok unless you want to leave the lid open - it's really not designed for that and they didn't provide a support string or chain for the top. at least 3 of the screws had defects that rendered them unusable (heads malformed, or no divot to place a driver in) but they give you considerable extra hardware, so it was ok. It doesn't fit tight - you can see the pegs and gaps once it's assembled. The smaller door went on with no problem - the other doors - had to use washers because (I've done this before) those screws were NOT going to tighten enough without breaking them off. Feels sturdy for a 115 lb person once assembled. light enough to move. Shelves inside are veneer, and definitely would NOT take any substantial weight. Don't expect to put books in this thing. If you do go with this, their suggestion not to use a power driver is probably a decent one, but if I had to do it again I would have gone out to get the electric power screwdriver... just turned it way down and been cautious. But the wood is VERY soft so it would be a risk.

Love my new boot bench. Looks expensive. Has three doors for storage with plenty of room. Was easy to put together and has a nice cushion on top.

This is a beautiful and very functional piece. We bought this for my senior mother’s bathroom; she uses it to store towels and other toiletries — but most importantly, it serves as another place to sit, as she has difficulty standing and walking. It feels sturdy; the doors open and close well with a good magnetic close; and I appreciate that it came with a seat cushion (others do not and her back would not tolerate a hard wooden seat. (Note that the cushion does slip if you open the lid, but not an issue for us). I would highly recommend!

Quality is okay; not top, but reasonable. 3.5 stars for quality. It is not wood, as some have stated, but bamboo, so not as durable as wood and care is needed in assembly. Looks good when assembled, and fairly sturdy if not abused (except the top hinges). Assembly directions, though, are terrible. 1.5 stars for assembly instructions. Not only are they poorly written, but the order makes assembly more problematic than it should be. I have assembled very many furniture items over my almost 70 years, and these instructions are some of the worst that I have encountered. I recommend that you assemble it on it's back initially. Do not attach the side panels first, as directed, but wait until the bottom, shelf, and back are assembled first. Then attach the side panels, stand it upright, and finish with the seat/top and doors. Do not over-tighten screws, or you will ruin the bench. Don't tighten fully at all until every part is properly attached, then tighten with extra care. I recommend attaching a short chain or cloth/rope between one side and the top (seat) to prevent the top from overstressing the hinges when fully opened. The hinges are not robust. Repeated rough opening and closing of the top will likely ruin the bench in time. A very short time if you are careless, or if kids are involved.

I like this shoe cabinet SO WELL. Both the appearance and the customer service are nicely. And it’s really sturdy and also fits my entryway alcove perfectly.I’d highly recommend it. It’s a pretty good value for its price.

We placed this bench in our bedroom. Amazed that it matches our Amish-made bedroom furniture so closely. Solid bamboo construction and nice cushion to sit on while changing shoes. Assembly instructions are easy to follow. Everything went together well until the doors. Difficult to align, even with the adjustments. Right door was really out of alignment and stuck out unevenly using existing pre-drilled holes. Drilled new holes furthur in and corrected problem. Does take some effort to fit the doors, but the rest ofd the assembly went well. Would be a nice feature to have velcro on the cushion to keep from sliding and dowel plugs to cover the screw holes on each side.

I use this as my hall bench to stash shoes,I love having the doors because I can hide shoes behind them. Putting the bench together was a bit time consuming ,but the instructions are clear.
