I would say right from the outset that I cannot comment on the overall "breaking strength" of these shackles, as my particular use for them won't really test their strength to any degree.However, that said. they are of good quality construction with no rough edges.The thread tolerance is (in my opinion) perfectly adequate, although could, with finer machining, have been made even better - but as I say, I wouldn't expect there to be any usage problems as supplied.Shackle dimensions are exactly as described in the sizes table amongst the product detail images.Overall, an excellent product for the price being asked at time of purchase.

Beautifully finished, sturdy, and description is accurate. Size guide makes it easy to choose size needed. Bought them to use indoors in my hanging chair and it looks super nice. Very satisfied.
