Vollrath 10" Wear-Ever® Fry Pan w/ PowerCoat 2™ Interior & Cool Handle®

I have a set of these pans and needed to replace this one. The original pan held up for over 5 years of constant use. They clean up easily.

I have used these pans for probably 20 years. Any of their products are always the best and last a long time. Everyone know a coated pan will eventually wear but my last one lasted over 10 years. My non coated pans are still going strong.

I have purchased a number of Volrath pans and have never been disappointed, and we cook a lot. The pans are well built with large rivets connecting the handle. The non-stick coating works very well and will last a long time if cared for (careless storage will do more damage than cooking). The cool handle works great and is removable for cleaning. For me, these are as good as a number of commercial grade pans I have used, at a much lower cost.

Outstanding! Cooking and heating surfaces are easy to clean. Blue heat-resistant handle guard can be easily removed to clean handle, and ensure no water stays in there. After 10 months of near-daily use, perfect condition except for where someone banged a metal cooking implement agains the lip of the pan, causing slight scoring (millimeters in length) -- but that's user error.

My 10 inch is definitely a little less non-sticky that it was when I bought it 14 months ago. I use it almost everyday, and I have accidentally cranked up the heat a couple / few times before catching the mistake, so The eight inch is about a year older, used less frequently, and functions better as a non-stick pan. It has a darker coating -- I wonder if it is the same? The handle, esp. on the bigger pan, could fit better -- it gets looser as it gets hot and is easy enough to push back, but annoying when in the middle of cooking. Fairly minor gripes all in all a good pan, and I like to buy US when quality is better and price is not absurd.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this because some very successful chef said he used this pan for ten years at home and still going strong. That’s what I need is a long lasting nonstick. My ceramic green pans went out on me, one totally destroyed after 2 years. I will report back the state of this nonstick after a few years. Longevity is very important to me. Tested with eggs and of course brand new it worked fine. Time will tell.

The quality of the material is excellent. Could not be happier with my purchase.
