Tilemaster Prime + Grip Multi-Purpose Bond Enhancing Primer 1kg

Q: I’m planning to tile on top of some glossy tiles. Would this work and how do I use?

I tiled on top of existing 6" x 6" glossy tiles on a bathroom wall. I was re tiling using 60cm x 30cm, much larger and heavier. The area I covered was 3.6 Square Metres. I applied the Prime + Grip by using a 1 1/2 inch brush. I painted the area in stages, 2 tile height at a time. I allowed 45 minutes for the Prime Grip to dry, then placed the new tiles on top using Evo Super Strength ready mixed adhesive. Everything worked very well. I am a novice DIY'er.

Q: what tiles adhesive can you use on top? I normally use Mapei flexible adhesive when tiling, would this work with this product?

Hi, I am sure as long as you use a good quality adhesive it should be OK. I used the one below as tiling a shower bathroom area and kitchen were water Was present. Bostik Water Resistant Ready Mixed Power Showerproof Tile Adhesive A200 - 10L

Q: Can this be used to prep an emulsion painted wall before tiling?

I was researching the same thing and so far it looks like you have to sand all the old paint off for your tile to adhere properly. Their are paint strippers but i don't know if they are suitable for walls.
