Reading Key Jazz Rhythms- Piano Paperback – January 1, 1996

Rhythms, articulations are not easy to learn. This book is a good tool.24 etudes. 2 versions of each : one with the real melody and the other with the same rhythms but with simplified melody with chords tones( 3rds, 6th, 7ths essentially). These alternative versions are really interesting. First you are able to concentrate on rhythms and second you learn to hear chords tones.The CD is really top quality. Good sound, good musicians. It's a very important part because you have "the right thing" and can play with it.Thank you Fred Lipsius for the work you have done.(and sorry for my Belgian english)
