The metal feels solid in hand, not flimsy or bendable, and once they are mounted they hold the rod without any wobble. I searched and searched for a good quality and inexpensive metal curtain rod mounting brackets for those cheap white curtain rods. These were great. They come packaged in a set with nails included. Also, these are NOT all made together where you have to break them apart to use. Weird to say that, BUT there are a lot of cheaper brackets that are almost like unfinished stamped metal. These brackets are super easy to install and the nails are very pointy. The actual bracket part is so slim that they are practically invisible. My curtains are very lightweight so they work perfectly for me. However, I tried to put velvet curtains up and the metal started to bend.
