can this cart be strapped to top before taking top off of jeep ?

No there is no way to attach the cart to the top prior to removing

Why does it say on some places up to 2022 and other 2023?

Because they update the year as time goes by. The wrangler top doesn’t change that much, this is a fantastic product to store your top.

Does this fit the Jeep Gladiator rubicon top?

I use it with my 2018 JLU hardtop. I am not sure about the gladiator... but if it’s the same (I’m assuming it is) then yeah.

How do you secure the back window from opening while placing the hard top on the cart

Good question. I used non-residue frog tape to secure it then removed it when my hardtop was settled. Didn’t harm the paint or finish at all
