I ordered this because I wanted bilberries, a relative of the blueberry which is very good for the eyes. Barberries are a tarter fruit and not at all the same. Basically the description was inaccurate.

Arrived in good time. Initially I thought I’d ordered wrongly as these are a lot smaller than I thought they might be. These are whole berries but they’re pretty tiny. Very tasty and super high in antioxidants. Customer service is excellent. Very understandable and patient when it actually turned out to be my mistake!!

Found these very bitter, trying out various ways of eating these in a cake or biscuit. Raw I find them to sharp . However the company delivered them in good time at a reasonable price.

Ad uso interno i mirtilli venivano utilizzati già nel 1′ secolo d.c., come rimedio naturale contro la dissenteria. L’estratto di succo di mirtillo migliora la vista al buio in quanto favorisce la rigenerazione della rodopsina, una sostanza presente nella retina con la funzione di recettore delle luce. Le bacche di mirtillo svolgono una forte azione contro diarrea e infezioni dell’apparato uro-genitale, per questo vengono spesso consigliate nei soggetti che soffrono di cistite. Inoltre, come detto in precedenza, la bacca e le foglie di mirtillo hanno proprietà ipoglicemizzanti, cioè abbassa il livello di glicemia nel sangue, ed è particolarmente indicato per chi soffre di diabete. I mirtilli possiedono, inoltre, proprietà estrogeniche e per questo vengono consigliati nei casi di alterazione dell’umore, vampate di calore nella menopausa. Per la preparazione della tissna: 1. In un pentolino porta ad ebollizione l’acqua. 2. Versa le foglie e le bacche nell’acqua bollente spenta. 3. Lascia riposare l’infuso per circa 4-5 minuti. 4. Consuma la tua tisana all’occasione. Consuma la tisana dopo l’ultimo pasto della sera oppure alla mattina a digiuno. Il prodotto arriva ben incartato e sigillato, sinonimo di serieta'della casa di produzione. Il sapore è ottimo. Viene veramente una buona tisana. Io personalmente lo associo anche ad un po di malva e verbena. * Trocitos pequeños. * Sabor....muy ácido, si lo comes un puñadito puño solo. * No valen para tomar sólos, hay que añadirlos al yogour o con cereales de avena y kakao. * Ni los notas al tomar con otra cosa, desaparece el sabor por Arte de magia....upssss *** UNA GRAN DECEPCIÓN Y CARA, ADEMÁS OJO NO SON BARATOS EHHH
