Great toy for my 3 yr old grandson. He especially likes to hold it up & watch the water drip out of either end as it has a tiny hole at either end. They are there for water to drain from inside tho i suspect it may become molded due to not all water draining out etc. wind up works until it goes part way down, then it becomes sluggish & cant beat against the water well after it winds down part way

They are cute . 3 come in the box . Just wind them up and they swim . I bought these as gifts , Great for little kids to use in a pool or a bath tub or sink.

LOVE!! One did break after close to 3yrs - but I feel if they last longer than a yr, great investment for the cost! And still have extras going strong. Also great size for the cost. Will buy again ;)

Updated: These are so cute. My grandson loves playing with them in the bath. I was not winding them while holding the arms. So they do indeed swim in the water. I just had to figure out how to do it correctly. These are cute and colorful but do not swim in water. My grandson loves turtles and bath time so was excited for him to open these as a gift. Then to find out you put them in the bath water and they do nothing.

These are cute but there is a hole in it so it will eventually get moldy. Until then, fun to play with in the bath.

I ordered this for an older child with multiple disabilities. He has played with it both in the bath and outside of the bath since we received it. So far it is holding up very well and it feels a lot sturdier than the ones I have bought at other stores. Some of the other brand toys have been accidentally broken by him on the first day. He's not overly rough with them, but doesn't treat things really gently either. The plastic is noticeably a lot thicker on this toy, and aesthetically it's very cute! The wind up mechanism is a little smaller and more recessed than the other toys we have bought, but he is still able to wind it independently. It also "swims" a lot longer than the other toys we have bought. Out of the water the wind up mechanism runs out quickly because there is no water resistance, but once it's in the water deep enough it causes it to go slower and last a lot longer. I have ordered another toy of the same brand to see how he likes it as well (the submarine).

It’s a fun toy but it’s kinda hard to explain I found that the wind-flipping ratio is a bit off. I had to rewind it again and again and again - the turtle’s flippers would move so quick that it didn’t even swim that far. The water gets in the toy but doesn’t get out as really, making the product susceptible to unseen mold.

Perfect little bath set. Truly had my toddler’s attention.
