3M™ Micropore™ Surgical Tape 1530-1, 1 IN x 10 YD (2,5cm x 9,1m), 12 Rolls/Carton

This Brand is the Hospital go-to Surgical tape. I discovered this 3M Brand from a nurse who used it for securing a sponge bandage. She gave me several rolls and I have found it works perfectly every-time since. The tape is sticky but peels off the skin cleanly. A scissor is not necessary to use when choosing a length either. It tears off the roll easily. Even when wet or in the shower- it remains in place. I use it every 2 days for a sponge bandage and have had no issues with skin irritation. Works so well. It has a nice comfortable adherence to the skin.

Sleep tape: For years, I have used a piece of paper medical tape about 1.5-2" x 1" as sleep tape. I breathe through my nose all night with no snoring. My mouth isn't dry when I wake up. It stays put all night, and peels of with no discomfort in the morning. I simply get a better nights rest. It lasts a long time, and cost a lot less than tape 'designed' for sleep. I have a small mouth. if you have a wider mouth, just order 2" wide tape. Micropore is the best tape to use for this. Just cut a new piece at bedtime.

This is a good and functional tape, it has a strong hold but it’s flexible enough it doesn’t restrict necessary movement, like for wrapping finger joints etc. I bought it to secure ends of reusable silicone surgical scar tape, it works perfectly for that but I’ve found many uses for it since - like wrapping an injured thumb joint. My favorite part is it removes clean, no sticky residue. … I certainly didn’t need this big box LOL, you get enough to last forever! But I will find many uses I’m sure and I have enough to share. Good value.

This is great tape it sticks to your skin, but is easy to remove when it’s time to take it off. It’s easily able to be torn without scissors and it’s a good value for the money.

Would recommend but. PRO: Sticks to skin very well. Lasts all day. Easy to use. On sale $7.60 CON: Has a harsh chemical smell. If that bothers you, air it out like me. If it gets wet, it becomes really difficult to remove if not fully dry. It’s paper tape. The chemical smell is quite harsh, but at least no mold!

After using the generic stuff from W-World, was happy to see available on Amazon. The generic brand doesn't stay adhered , 3M brand does, exactly as it should. Paper tape has many uses, everything from non surgical Foreskin restoration to nicotine patches to bandages. 3M is the brand of micro pore-paper tape you want. Cuts easily and removes without pain. I use this to keep nicotine patches on. Works perfectly.

this is the same tape they use at my dialysis when they wrap up my arm after a treatment so I when I take off the bandages sometime there will be a small bit of blood so I have the tape and gauze same as they use at dialysis to use at home and have some in my car and in my purse never know emergency happen I will be prepared
