Sizing
I'm going to write my review to corroborate some information from other people's reviews that were very helpful. The pants are very thin, lightweight, slim fit and have a silky/nylon feel, but it does make it super comfortable for hiking, going to amusement parks, traveling on planes etc. When you put the pants on, it's the closest feeling like you're not wearing anything at all - they are that lightweight. If I didn't see other reviewers showing they were traveling, hiking and it didn't easily rip, I would be skeptical that the pants would last a week. There's a lot of confusion with the sizing. Although some reviews list their height and weight - which is helpful, we don't know if they're apple or pear-shaped, which can make a big difference in these pants. I agree with one reviewer that said it can look like a diaper - that is if it's too big around the hip and waist area and that is the only area I found that stretched a liitle after a day of wearing it. This is because of the thin material and the drawstring for the waist. I have an apple shape figure and I agree with another reviewer that if you want it to fit like the model (snug), then you need to go down two sizes. This would apply more to an apple shape. If you are pear-shaped and you like your pants more on the snug side, then I would go down one size. If you like your pants a little on the loose side, then I would order the size you normally wear taking account of their size chart. For the size chart, I would disregard the waist measurement because the drawstring can be almost pulled out to the very end - the hips and leg area are going to be your most important measurement and you can see there's only one-inch difference in each size for hip measurement although when it stretches out it probably equals 4 inches for every inch. They do stretch out a tremendous amount when you put them on.If I had not read the reviews and based on their chart measurements, I would have ordered a large, however I purchased the navy blue in the small and it fit me perfectly snug, but not overly tight. Since it has a good amount of stretch similar to leggings that have spandex, it's more forgiving in sizing. The waist has a drawstring so if you have more of an apple shape it allows you to loosen it at least four or five inches. I love the pants and plan to order more. Also because it's free returns with Amazon, it was a no-brainer to take a chance and I'm glad I did! I hope this review helps to make it a little bit easier for sizing -which is always difficult when you order clothing online and especially when a different color in the same size can fit differently.

I love them
I spent countless hours searching amazon for the perfect hiking pants and ordered 3 pairs: Columbia, Prana and these. These are the most comfortable by far, i love this fabric. I’d like the fit to be a little more tapered at the ankles, but it’s close enough to what I was looking for. Pockets are all a nice size, which is so hard to find in women’s pants. The fit is pretty flattering, they’re super light and stretchy and feel like they will dry quickly. The fabric feels nice and cool for summer wear.I’ll update after some hiking if i have any issues, but i doubt i will.

Buy them
Great pants. Lightweight. Breathable. Full coverage against sun and bugs. Zippers are nice on the pockets. Very useful clothing for travel, for everyday wear, for hot weather when you want coverage. I haven’t worn them in rain yet and they aren’t water proof but they are slightly water resistant with very good ability to disperse the water and let it evaporate away from your skin. Suzing chart is correct. Size XL fits great even the length. I’m 5’2” and 185 lbs.

Comfiest pants ever!!”
Bought 2 pair for upcoming international travel, Black and gray (love the colors), size large. I’m approx size 12 petite and they fit great, just loose enough and long enough to fit over top of shoe without tripping :). I would definitely recommend!

Very nice but long
I bought these in navy and the color is nice. The fabric is stretchy just like description but they are long. I am 5'1" and they fit like regular pants not ankle length. This is fine for me because I was looking for that but maybe some of you are not. I ordered the medium because I needed room for my backside and I'm glad I did. I think the small you have been too tight. The purpose for these is a trip to Zion, Utah in 2 weeks during fall (which promises to be cold) so I will give an update. These pants are not thick or insulated and the fabric is smooth and synthetic.

I live in these!
These pants are the perfect length when worn at the waist (not the hips) for someone 5'3.They run true to size and are super silky feeling, very stretchy, and cool. When I unwrapped them, I assumed that I might return them because the fabric looked so thin I could see light through them. That said, once they were on, they passed the squat test and feel and look great!Heads up: these are not the same fabric as typical outdoors pants from big brands, but they've held up well so far and are much cooler and lighter.I do field work every summer for 3 months and these are THE best pants I've found. I have plenty of Columbia and North Face pants which are great, but I choose these to wear first every time. The quality is great, they're quiet (no thigh swooshing sounds that you usually get in women's outdoor pants), and they help you stay cool, comfortable, and honestly, pretty stylish. They don't hold wrinkles or dirt and the black almost looks like slacks. Buy a pair, you won't regret it!

Love these pants
I tried them on right away, because I’m short (5’2”) I was curious. They are very nice, true to size, I bought a large, roomy, comfortable, I’m enjoying very much, I’m still playinggolf , early tee times are nippy, these are just enough. Love them wish I’d bought more in different colors

bin begeistert
