Encounter this at one pharmacy, but it is not broadly used yet. So bought it forGranddaughter's pediatrician to to try.

I am terrified of needles. This product works so well that I can barely feel the needle when it is inserted. This is the only way I can take my shot each week. I am so happy that I found it.

If you do, you know that sometimes you hit even a small vain, and you bleed on your cloths. Well, This stops all of that! My Pharmacist recently gave me an injection and used one of these. Knowing that I give myself shots, he suggested that I look for these on line at Amazon. These are great. "NO BLOOD ON MY CLOTHES!"

I am a pharmacist and we do a lot of vaccines in our pharmacy. We love these and the patients do too. They are non-coring. You stick the needle right through the membrane. Very key! If the patient happens to bleed, which is somewhat rare, it eliminates the need of trying to grab a cotton ball while finding your injection site AND at the same time trying to dispose of a sharp needle. Eliminates the need for disposing of a cotton ball with patient blood on it as the bandage contains any bleeding. We just tell the patient to take off when they get home. All around a great product and increases patient safety.

The product is great for those who are learning but I found them extremely adhesive and that could be a concern on delicate or aging skin.

My pharmacist used one of these on me when I received my flu shot last winter. I tried to get it ordered through our system, but could not locate it. I went ahead and spent my own money buying a box of them. I recommend without reservation and will purchase more in the future.
