Q: How do you deflate these large number balloons? I put the straw in and squeezed, but no air is coming out.

The provided straws are too short, get a longer one. It needs to go pretty far in there.

Q: Will these balloons work outdoors - wanted to tie to friend’s mailbox?

The foil doesn’t work well in winter. Or low temperature because it look deflated, but if the temperature are well it works outside

Q: How do you inflate without a straw? The straw did not arrive in the package.

I just blew into it, with my mouth, the old fashioned way! There are probably better ways to do it but it worked for me.

No, but they come with strings for you to attach after they are inflated.
