Thomas' Daring Drop Blue Mountain Quarry Playset

My son was very delighted to get it and he does when he received it!!! I was very happy as this keeps him busy all time and he loves to play with Thomas. I'd recommend this product for 4+ child. Price is worth too.The only awkward part was to assemble the units because the assembly instruction were not proper. It could have been better to help assemble proeprly. But nevertheless I could get it with the help of picture at box.

Track is massive, somewhat hard to put together. Lots of pieces. My three year old lost interest in it.

My grandson loves Thomas so I thought this would be great to have when he visits. What a mistake. Not only did it take forever to put together but the track keeps disconnecting. Also the Thomas engine it comes with is too heavy for the track. I'm so sorry I bought this. It's more of a bother than it's worth and I would not recommend it.

As we found out when our three-year old said, "where's the boulder and zip line," do not get this set confused with the Risky Rails Bridge Drop (http://www.amazon.com/Thomas-Friends-TrackMaster-Risky-Bridge/dp/B007J3F99S/ref=pd_sim_t_2). This set contains the same track as that set, but lacks the boulders, zip line, and ramp for the boulder to roll down. That made a world of difference to my son. Fortunately, the store we purchased it at was very understanding and we now have the Risky Rails set with the extra accessories.All in all, this is a fine set. As described in my review of the Risky Rails set, this set is hard to get together the first time you build it, but gets easier to put back up after that. Adult help will, however, likely be required.

The toy itself is great. My son loves when Thomas drops and just keeps going on the track. However, I have yet to figure out a good way to store this set. Its too big to leave out but the large tower is hard to get apart to store.

It took my wife and I on Christmas Eve about 20 minutes to put this item together. My son loves all things Thomas and this put a crown jewel in his set. We have old tomy and trackmaster and I took a few pieces off the flat at the bottom and added the tomy to trackmaster adapters and connected this set to some of his other sets and he hasnt stopped playing with this yet. The only problem we have encountered is sometimes on the drop the trains get stuck or flip on to their sides, and you cant send a long line of cars that my son likes to do on the hill up to the top. But other than that this Product is great.

All good and my son really likes it. It is a pretty good set.Setting it up the first time can be quite a task, but if you can take it up as a puzzle with your kid it will be fun. Once you have cracked it all, it is easier to setup the next time.The engine does not connect bogeys using magnets, but a hook. The tracks are made of plastic and not wood as some other Thomas & friends sets are. IMHO, kids should love it :)

Diese Bahn war ein großer Wunsch meines Patenkindes. Er hat sich sehr gefreut. Allerdings nervt dieses Runtergerausche nach einiger Zeit. Naja wenn es den Kindern Spaß macht, dann sind wir doch auch glücklich ;)

Arrived soon and in great condition. Lots of fun, but tricky to set up. A must for Thomas fans all around the world.

Algo arduo de montar pero muy divertido. Mi hijo alucina cuando el tren baja por la rampa. Chulísmo y más si a la locomotora le añades algun vagón.
