Best necker for the buck. Maybe the best necker out there..
This is the perfect size for a neck knife. The steel is fine for it's size. Been using mine for over a year (changed the lanyard). Wear xl gloves and the three-ish finger grip is very secure. It needs sharpening out of the box, but it gets crazy sharp. Ease of honing versus too hard of a steel in a small knife is a very good thing. Something this small which gets covered in sweat should always be stainless. Sorry purists, reality rules.

A Nice Little Knife!
Not exactly the knife you would want to be stranded in the mountains with, but a pretty good knife just the same. I have mine hanging from a peg hook in my workshop and it's my "Go to" knife for miscellaneous opening tasks, at which it excels. I haven't had it in the field yet but the full tang construction and sharp blade will no doubt come in handy.

Good knife and good customer service.
I was going to buy 4 of these to put in spacers to make graduation gifts for my friends. Unfortunately they did not reserve the proper amount to send me. They immediately refunded my entire purchase and apologized. I thought nothing of it then about a week later, one of these knives showed up in the mail. They had sent me one as an apology. I am very satisfied with it. It is well made, feels good, and hangs very discreetly around the neck. The steel holds an edge well and comes razor sharp. It is held securely in the sheath but will pull out without issue. I tested it by spinning it in a circle above my head, it didn't come out.Good customer service with a good product. I would buy again.

Decent little necker
Nice size necker, high quality, great retention on sheath, semi grippy handles, but only three finger grip ( I added a small paracord lanyard for my pinky finger - HUGE difference ) - on the expensive side and steel is difficult to re-sharpen, although it did come sharp out of box - I weave this to my shoulder strap on my pack or edc as a small quick discreet edge to have

Love this lil knife.
Have an SCHF13 and thought I'd try out it's lil brother. This knife is very small and light. The handle fits (well) for my first two fingers and the traction is good. The blade is sharp outta the box and seems to be holding an edge well. I'm new to neck knives but I think I finally found the small knife I won't lose. I'm forever setting down pocket knives and forgetting them. This goes right back where it was. Can't explain why so much; just is. The sheath is great, excellent retention, hardly noticable while wearing. Disagree w/ other commenter about the lanyard. Yes, it's the cheap ball-chain style bu you'll want that sucker to break if you hang your head up on a branch or something. A form of 'break-away" neck lanyard is a must, I think. If I replace w/ paracord - which would be better - I'll still put a break-point in it. I've used this knife on all kinds of things and am surprised at how big a job it can handle for such a small package. I'm not gonna defend my life with it, just make life easier every day. Bought two from Amazon and very happy w/ 'em. Wife stole my first one. At least she has taste.

The Little Big Knife...a great knife for a small price
I have used this tiny knife for many tasks that a larger blade would be called for! Not to my surprise the little microbushcraft knife patterned after the larger SCHF13 passed with flying colors for steak, other meats, general chores, cleaning fish, etc. The only reason it doesn't have 5 stars is the black handle that makes it difficult to see at times due to it's small size. An orange or yellow or even a neon green would be much better thus making it easier to see if dropped. I have gutted, scaled and cleaned fish from pan size to the larger bass and it did a good job. Can't say enough good about this attractive neck knife with a well designed blade. It holds an edge fairly well, was sharp out of the box, and snaps very securely in it's sheath. Will most likely order another, and will also get it's big brother in a week or so. Schrade has done it again! Been using Schrade, Old Timers, and Uncle Henrys for more than 55 years and will continue to do so. I have a lot of Schrades and will get more to test and review as times goes on. Some I didn't purchase from Amazon but will post a review because of thegood job that Schrade has done! They are watching quality control that pleases me! Oh did I mention the ball chain that comes with it? Worthless if you are really putting the knife to hard use. They break! Could lose you knife. Change it to 550 paracord!

Perfect Neckknife
This little blade is perfect for EDC and I actually do EDC it from my neck. It's the perfect size and convenient to deploy and its become my primary for small cutting tasks. I love the stonewash look too, and it keeps a decent edge without being too difficult to sharpen. Plus at this price point if I abuse or lose this knife it won't hurt to get another. Sweet.

Very good little knife to have. Good for a medkit or just to have on your person. Schrade knives are often quality items and this is no exception.

Great little neck knife for the price
Great little neck knife for the price. Bought it for my girlfriend as her first knife. Small enough as to not be intimidating, but still useful. Great for small food prep tasks!

Great little utility knife
This little beauty was a fine addition for me when I head out to the range. Keep it under the shirt, and it's really handy for the little jobs one needs done from opening sealed boxes to popping staples out of the targets on the boards for those ones you want to keep for reference. Great little knife and it helps keep the pockets light.Schrade knives have never let me down, they are great value for the money.

Awesome neck knife.
Solid knife. A lot smaller then I thought it was going to be. But it's a nice addition to my collection of knives. Definitely going to be purchasing more from Shrade.
