Rothco Gi Type Y Style Lc-1 Suspenders

I give this product 5/5 stars. What people fail to realize is that combat suspenders are designed to fit with a gun belt. And that gun belt is meant to be affixed to your abdomen with the suspenders holding the gun belt for stability when the belt is fully equiped with battle gear. So that's why it appears "Short" is because you aren't wearing it right.Now that's out the way. Let's talk about the suspenders themselves. The suspenders are highly adjustable and will secure your pistol belt with ease. The padding for the shoulders are very comfortable and makes long usage in the field pleasable. It comes with two points on the front where you can attach small molle gear and black rings to attach whatever you need as in a combat satchel for parachuting. Stitching is exceptional and has a lot of strength to it. This is one of the best harnesses you can have to prepare yourself as a unarmored combatant. While at the same time, can arm yourself with the gear you need on your battle belt without it sliding off your body. Will purchase again from Rothco when mine wears out.

Great for the price. Appear well made. Will work for will reenactor's that don't want to pay high prices.

What I was looking for, exactly. Keeping/adjusting them to not hit/rub the back of neck takes some trial & error, but that's its nature. Note: not the thickest shoulder padding as some new items now on the market. Only issue is I wish they had longer adjustment straps; as I plan to get a vest/plate carrier in the future and may push the limit with these, the carrier, and my expanded size. Otherwise, just the durable item I wanted. Oh yea, did I mention color choices? Like black, for example? :)If you want durability, get a set.

My sone carries an O2 concentraor with shoulder straip. The shoulder strap gets very uncomfortable over time on long walks. Tried using pistol belt with O2 box hanging off carbiners in addition to the shoulder strap. Limited success because weight still pulls on one side. Used suspenders with the pistol belt - so far working. Still l pulls to one side where the O2 box is. Looking to add a pouch on other side to balance the load (spare battery, supplies, water bottle). For now, the shoulder straps distribute the weight more evenly.

Mil spec Y straps. If you need padded shoulder straps for your work belt these are much less expensive than the ones you can buy at the big box stores.The clip hooks should be pressed over the hooks once placed on tge belt to keep them in place

Rear hooks are not low profile, just hang belt lower then anything on your back (B.O.B kidney belt).
