Nail Tek Foundation Xtra 4 Ridge Filler Strengthener and Base Coat, 0.5 oz

After removing my acrylics this is THE only product that makes my nails stronger because they are so thin and sore. This ridge filler is A MUST because it starts to strengthen your nails on its own. Then use the strengthener over top for 7 days (at least) and your nails are already harder and stronger. I continue using the strengthener until it starts to lift a little, then I repeat the process. I tried only using the strengthener on its own, BUT IT DOES NOT WORK. Trust me, get the ridge filler to use first and you’re on your way to healthy nails. They also make different formulas for different nail concerns.

I have been fighting the nail on my right ring finger for at least 3 years. I have tried glue, nail strengthened and polishes with fibers in them that are supposed to help your nail back to normal and none of them worked. Last March the polish I had been using got lost while I was in the hospital. I kept trying other products with no help. I bough this product in November of 2023, using it regularly to deal with the split. I also used it on some nails that were coming off in layers. Last week my ring finger started hurting, couldn't figure out why until I noticed how long the nail was. My nail bed was not used to having a nail go out over it, and it was feeling bruised because my nail was nearly 1/4" long. THIS STUFF WORKS!!!

The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars overall is that while it does a very good job filling the smaller ridges, the deeper ridges are somewhat visible, but much better than without the ridge filler. It dries quickly and is a good basecoat for color lasting one week between manicures. I am overall satisfied with the product and will continue using it. As an additional comment, Nailtek products are very good value for the price.

It really does fill in ridges. Highly recommend.

I rarely write reviews but this product deserves one. I have terrible nails; that’s why I started wearing acrylic ones. It was exciting to have beautiful nails for the first time in my life! I was hooked. After about 20 years I got tired of going every two weeks to have either a fill in or new set. I also got tired of paying so much. I decided to take a break and let my nails grow back as they were totally destroyed. It took an entire year but they finally grew out. I went back to acrylic and that lasted only one month. I had destroyed my nails again and couldn’t keep up with the process. They are about halfway through the growing out phase and I have been trying every ridge filler being sold. Nothing has pleased me until I found NAIL TEC #4. This stuff is amazing! It fills in all the pealed areas of my nails and leaves a very natural look. It gives my nails the strength not to bend and further peal. I hove renewed hope now with NAIL TEC #4. Try it out. : ). : j

My nails are super damaged from years of false nails. They have really bad ridges. This polish really helps filling in the ridges, stays on well, and looks really pretty on!!! I bought the level 4 one and applied 3 coats.

I started using this stuff about six months ago and it worked great. It leveled the ridges in my nails and they grew like crazy. A month or so ago I noticed one of my toenails started lifting and I thought that was weird then I noticed two of my fingernails were also starting to lift. There hasn’t been any trauma to these nails to cause lifting. I read this polish makes your nails too hard and brittle. So now I’m suffering the consequences of using this stuff and hoping my nails recover. And no, I don’t use any other products like gel or acrylic.

I would not buy this or advise anyone to buy, because it has formaldehyde in it. The bottle says, don’t let touch skin, causes cancer. So if you buy anyway, it’s non-refundable , so you are throwing your money away .

Used to improve mail health.. When used and hands used soap detergent, my nails went blue. Not impressed. If I was not out of the country after receiving I would return it for a full refund. Unfortunately When it arrived I used it once in prep of my trip. Very disappointing.
