I should have checked it isn’t big at all.

where is this product from? USA or China?

I suspect it is manufactured in China but there are no markings on the item itself and I didn't check the box it came in. That being said the container is rugged and well made including the clip lid. I haven't tested it in the oven but have used it to reheat in the microwave many times.

Can it be used to store food in the freezer?

While I have not used it in the freezer, the information about container says it can be use in the freezer. It’s a great container and holds a lot more than round, regular bowls. I make a large salad every 3 days or so, as a time saver. This container keeps it fresh and stores easily in the fridge. I recently switched to using only these types of rectangular glass containers instead of round, glass Pyrex containers, and my fridge now fits a lot more leftovers, salads, fruit salads, etc. in an easy to find manner.
