I can scrape the “diamonds” off with my fingernail!

Is this some kind of joke? File vs my fingernail… fingernail wins. I can literally scrape all the little abrasive bits off with my thumbnail. That’s wrong. Do not buy.

Wears out quickly.

Worked ok although the diamond coating started wearing off after the first set of skis. Have another DMT sharpener for knives, and have been very happy with it, this one not quite as much.

I have several of these around. use them as nail files. should last forever. a perfect lightweight nail maintenance tool for long thru hikes

Stone dresser

Using this small DMT diamond stone to dress ceramic sharpening stones which are famous for glazing with use. It brings back the abrasive cutting ability the stone had when new if not a bit better.I'm using it on Spiderco Ceramic stones and it is working very well indeed.KnifeMaker
