Works well
This stripper works really well on small gauge wires. It has an easy depth setting and just insert your wire, press the lever and pull for a perfectly stripped wire every time.

Great tool
I use this all the time at work for stripping small wires. It works very well, one of my favorite tools.

Works great!
This is a nifty little wire stripper. Ive used it a few times so far for repeated lengths to crimp. I have found it easy to use. Only a couple of annoyances. The part of the insulation that comes off can sometimes get stuck. If you choose the wrong wire gauge, it can rip the conductors. Other then that, itโs a great tool to have on the bench. I can definitely recommend it.

Consistent stripping for finer gauge wires
I bought this stripper because my other strippers only go down to 22 AWG and I needed to work with some finer gauge wires. I also purchased the 26 - 36 AWG version. This stripper is a compact and clever design that gives consistent stripping results. Maybe I missed them, but I did not see anything in the way of instructions. However, once you have it in your hands, you can see how it works. One red slider sets the wire gauge and another sets the strip length. You set these first, then release the small strip lever catch to open the strip blades. Then insert the wire until you feel it hit the stop. Close the strip blade by pressing the red button on the strip blade lever and pull back on the wire to complete the strip. You insert and strip one wire at a time, and because the stripping blade is at least 1/4" back from the insertion point, individual wires need to be separated from cables or ribbons about 1/2" to easily insert the wire to be stripped. It seems like a minor limitation, though, and shouldn't be a problem for most cases. It's a little pricey for a wire stripper, but also sort of unique, and I felt it was worth the cost. The body is mostly plastic, but it seems sturdy. Time will tell for durability.

time saver
I purchased another Knipex model that was rated for 10-24 awg. In truth it won't do 22 awg and beyond. I needed something for 22 -26 awg and this mini stripper is it. However, I was actually hoping for a one-for-all solution from Knipex, like Irwin Vise-grip which is an amazing stripper that strips 12-26 awg effortlessly. Only problem is it feels bulky in many situations.

Perfect for small gauges.
If you work regularly with smaller gauge wire, the only thing you will regret about buying this is all the time you wasted using any other stripper.

Great tool for working with 18-28 awg wire
Debating to spend the money for something like this was about a week worth of going back and forth. After getting fed up with the junk pocket wire strippers for these small wires I decided to get it. WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG!!? Wow, right after getting my shipment I put it to work, I couldn't be happier. Time saving, material saving and far faster and consistent. This will forever be in my took kit!

OK for the price, but unsuitable for stripping a large number of wires
This is a reasonably functional tool but it has one very significant drawback. I found that, about 80% of the time, the insulation stripped from the wire would remain wedged in the tool after the wire was withdrawn. It was wedged so firmly that simple shaking the tool or hitting it onto the workbench was usually insufficient to dislodge it. This meant that I had to pick up a screw driver or similar object to clear the blockage. This gets old really fast when you are stripping a few hundred wires.

Expensive, but the best small gauge wire stripper out there.
If you like to tinker with electronics and work with LED this stripper is worth the money. Every other stripper I've ever tried makes it hard to consistently strip the wire without losing some copper in the process. When working with thin gauge wire you need every strand so I bit the bullet and picked this up. So glad I did, not only did it speed things up greatly but it's small, slick and has great build quality. Good tools are always worth the money and this is a good tool! 3D printed holder NOT INCLUDED IN PURCHASE lol. I build that myself.

Lightweight and user replaceable parts
The design is great for its compact size. I think it's a shared design between Jokari and Knipex. The only differences I can tell are the price, the colour options, and where it's made. Jokari is made in Germany which is always a plus and it's cheaper. This unit is made in China which is fine but manufacturing costs are no where nearwhat it would cost to be made in Germany. So I would expect the price to reflect that. Luckily I bought one of these Kinpex used so the price was very similar to the Jokard so it's all comes out as a wash for me but full price is your only option I would go with Jokari. Now, build qaulity is decent and as I mentioned in the title, parts can easily be replaced. My only gripe is that the plastic composite seems a little cheaply made. It's light so the odds of drop damage is probably minimal but it would be nice to see it made out a higher quality material. Now where it shines is the function. It makes up for the materials easily with this fact alone. That being said Jokari looks identical for about half the price.
