Bought to try and turn some very cheap slotted shelves into something acceptable to put in our living room. Product went on very easily and had the result I wanted. I was going for the shabby chic so I was happy with any unevenness (anyone wanting a more consistent finish will need to take more care). I was going to complain that their coverage was wrong but then realised it's because I'd not accounted for my wood having 2 sides in my calculations!!!

Be careful to sand the wood very evenly if you want an even finish. The coarser the sandpaper, the darker the shade appears. Once the importance and effect of preparation is understood, the finish and colour (light grey) is really attractive. I thinned with water in stages at 25 to 100% strength as an experiment at first and found this works well from a transparent tint at 25%, to totally opaque covering if you use 2 or three undiluted coats. It says don’t over brush so don’t! Each application must be totally dry before adding another. Practice first! Good stuff. Pricey for the coverage.

I'm no expert but my coffee table needed some life breathing back into it after taking lots of stains, bumps and scratches. I lightly sanded it and did two coats of this lovely product and it's like new. It's well packaged with clear instructions for people who don't know what they're doing. Just need to seal it now.

Used to colour some skirting grey after struggling to fine some already the colour we wanted. Found this on Amazon and gave it a try. Perfect for what we wanted and used hardly any. We first applied the colour then once dry put a coating of Danish oil on top. Looks great very happy.
