These steel pins work great for tumbling 9mm / 45acp brass. I like the fact that I just rinse and dry these off and they are ready to use again and again. I was dry tumbling with corn media but when it gets so dirty you just have to throw it away. Hopefully these last for some time. I am very happy with the purchase.

Wow what a time saver. This will clean your brass cases in under an hour or if you give it 1.5 hours it will also clean the primer pockets as well as inside the case. There is nothing that compares and I wish I had have bought one a long time ago!! High, highly recommend getting one. No more cleaning the primer pocket, it's now a thing of the past. As for longevity I haven't had it that long. But given the design of it, I would expect it to last quite a while. Also like the hexagonal shape over a round tumbler. Seems to agitate the media and brass better. Also, the see through perspex container means I can see how bright they are without having to take the lid off. All in all, I highly recommend it.

First tried them on old pennies. Wow! Next test was on rifle brass. The wet tumble process was great. The tiny pins cleaned the primer pockets. When draining the brass and pins through a strainer, many pins passed through the mesh of the strainer. No real problem. The pins were picked up with a magnet. Good product for wet tumbling.

I debated about buying stainless media but I'm glad I did! It made the brass look super shiny like it was brand new! I just use my kids rock tumbler, a bit of lemi shine, bit of dish soap, and the stainless media and my casings look just like new! Being stainless, no need to worry about rust, and clean up is really easy since they're magnetic! Definitely recommend!

When we receive the package the cap on the bottle that the pins were in was broken, all the pins were in the bottom of the amazon bag. Pins were fine.

Arrived on time, well packaged. size .039 diameter true, length varies from .255 - .2845. This could be down to the burrs where the pins have been cut off. In all, affordable pins, but not the best.
