Autobots, Transform and roll out! The famous words of Optimus Prime. Words you will endlessly find yourself saying as you hold this figure! If you don't find yourself quoting the famou Peter Cullen repeatedly, you may be doing this wrong! This Optimus Prime figure is EASILY one of the better standard Transformer figures, well worthe the price and scales well with about the 7" figures. Pros: 1. This figure transforms SO well and SO fast, very easily, with next to no real issues 2. He just looks SO DANG GOOD. 3. He scales VERY well with other Figures from the line. Cons: 1. The only thing I can think of here is that sometimes the transformation doesn't work as well as you'd like, some parts stick or don't fit quite right, but it's never enough to be a problem. Overall: If you're wondergin, YES you SHOULD buy this!

Absolutely stellar version of Optimus Prime. It fulfils what my imagination wanted the original G1 Optimus to be. I am actually quite surprised at how nice the execution is. I wish I could find a Megatron at the same level.

I had this figure previously but it got destroyed, so I ordered this figure to replace my original; I was genuinely surprised when I saw how rich the blue paint looks compared to the original figure! The pricing also surprisingly matched the quality of the figure, which itself looks very clean and sleek in both modes! The plastic is solid and it’s a great figure to transform! I 100% recommend this figure if you’re looking for a good quality Optimus Prime that is also fairly affordable!

I'll admit it: I'm a "Geewunner". I grew up on the 80's show. I can respect other incarnations of the characters and properties (and quite enjoy many of them too), but I've got a soft spot for the original designs. And this one... oh man... does it hit me there hard. In a good way, of course. As far as I'm concerned, this is a mini Masterpiece Optimus Prime. He has a decent (maybe not perfect, but pretty good) truck mode. But his robot mode...wow. This just checks all the boxes. And then some. He looks great. He's lean but well proportioned, with a good range of motion for all his joints. And... did I mention he looks great??? This is what I dreamed about when looking at my G1 Optimus years ago, and wishing he could look more like his show's bot mode while having increased range of motion. The only gripe (which is minor) is that his front bumper and front wheels are folded up on his back. Which isn't terrible, and not as bad as the Siege version (which was a good figure too, but not as good IMO). Other bells, he comes with opening hands (four fingers all attached, but still impressive at this scale), a folding rifle (ok, it looks a bit chunky to me, but not bad), and his chest opens to reveal a small Matrix of Leadership! It's small, and a bit tricky to get out, but it's there. And then the transformation... as if they didn't wow me with the bot mode, they certainly did here too. I've had plenty of modern Transformers that are finicky... you have to squeeze or position parts just right. And then, fidle with them because they aren't lining up. Not here. Earthrise Optimus Prime has to me the perfect transformation. The iconic arms folding into the side with his legs being the back of the truck and all formula. But while not simplistic, everything just folds up right. It's very clean and efficient. He does has a second grill like many other Primes, but it just works. So I've been gushing about the main figure. However, I'm not as crazy about the trailer. For starters, the trailer is small. It doesn't bother some others, but it bothers me. I can just tell they cut corners here. With gaps and areas not filled it, it's clear they poured the engineering into the main figure. I mean, it not bad, it does the job, but it's just not excellent like the main figure. The figure looks way better in truck mode with an original Optimus trailer )albeit, that one is too low to the ground for this figure). And while the trailer opens up similar to the original, it's more sparsely decorated inside. But it does have the artillery robot inside; just not much else. And yes, the ramp has a pull out shield. I just think that's lame. Ultimately, I wish they sold this Prime sans the trailer and that they knocked the price down too. This Prime is really a Voyager class with an added trailer to bump him up to leader, but I feel the robot maybe even more than a simple Voyager. I gave this guy 4 out of 5 stars because of that trailer. But robot mode definitely doesn't disappoint.

Perfect figure for a slightly cheaper alternative to the 86 movie version or an over all G1 and great if you are a fan of Earthrise

Leider offenbarte sich schon beim öffnen der Verpackung auch gleich der größte Schwachpunkt der Figur. Die obere Hälfte vom Torso von Optimus Prime will immer wieder nach oben ploppen und hängt auf einer Seite immer locker raus. Das liegt an der sehr billigen Plastik Qualität. Ich hätte es wissen müssen. Hasbro Spielzeug ist und bleibt billigst produzierter Schrott. Das hat sich für mich nun endgültig erledigt.

Simply one of the best Optimus Prime figures of all time! His sculpt is amazing and very stylized, not exactly G1 accurate but includes many extra realistic details and angular features that make him look like he's out of a comic book or illustration. His pose-ability is great and you are able to get him into all kind of heroic and action poses with ease, with great stability thanks to his modular feet to let him stand on his own in all of them. His transformation is also relatively easy and quick, the only finnicky part is that his head might block his chest from connecting to his waist piece if you angle it wrong. His only flaw in my opinion is that his arms are slightly too short, which can make it difficult to get him in some poses involving his arms in front of his chest or holding his matrix. This could have been fixed with a forward shoulder tilt pivot but no transforming toy can be perfect. For this price however, this is the best value you can get and is the best Optimus in my book, even better than SS86 due to how much slicker his design is and lower price

Da collezionista di Transfomers da ormai circa 11 anni (senza contare tutti quelli accumulati da bambino), mi sono sempre tenuto alla larga dalle serie come i Masterpiece, modelli costosi e ad altro grado di dettaglio. Credo che con questa versione di Optimus Prime sia stato raggiunto un livello di fedeltà al personaggio animato, cura del dettaglio e versatilità delle articolazioni degno di un prodotto per collezionisti, senza sacrificare il valore di gioco per i bambini. Questo modello è un vero capolavoro e merita un posto nelle vetrine di tutti gli appassionati di Transformers.

This is a spectacular figure. Not only does Optimus look great in both modes, but the transformation is elegant. He even comes with a (removable) matrix of leadership. Only gripe would be the trailer is a little barebones.

Literally no words to describe how awesome this is. It’s a masterpiece figure at a leader class price, and definitely suitable for both kids and adults. If you possess a 3D printer too, there’s many free add ons on thingiverse you can print off too to add on. If I had only one complaint it’s that the knee flaps are a bit fiddly to flip up, but that’s it. The only faux part is the torso, which the real one compacts away enough you wonder where it is The wheels on the back look ugly in the robot mode? You can just unclip it, and clip it back on. I will say the trailer isn’t as big as it seems, you can only really fit very small deluxe figures inside, like studio series Jazz just fits in. But that’s my only gripe. A must have
