Missing pieces
Really good instructions and quality.. however it had several missing pieces 😟

Wow! A mammoth task!
Wow, building this is a mamoth task! The box says suitable for 9 years plus, but I doubt my 11 year old could have completed this on his own. We built it together, taking a little over 4 hours.The instructions are nicely printed in a large glossy colour booklet, and on the whole easy to follow. The main issue we had was working out which length rod was being referred to, and this often came down to guess work. Other than that, the different parts were quite easy to identify, and all but one of the pictures made it clear how they should be assembled.Once assembled, the truck has a motor to drive it forwards or backwards. This is just about powerful enough to get it moving on a carpet, though it works better on a hard floor. It can be steered via a wheel on the top, and the way this links through to steer the front wheels is pretty neat. The switch to turn the motor on (forward/off/reverse) is very fiddly and located in an awkward position inside the back of the truck.I was quite surprised that my son did spend a fair bit of time playing with the completed model, and hasn't yet broken it!

Great project toy.
Wow! This big boy is going to give someone who likes building some serious fun constructing this mammoth toy.Lots of parts , batteries included so once it’s completed it can move.This toy is not suitable for children under 3 as there are small parts as per the manufacturer. I personally would have thought that it would be more suited to an older child.Great Christmas or birthday gift.
