I was pleasantly surprised by this MIC, which is why I bought the kit, gave my video just the right professional sound I was looking for, real plug-and-play install, I was up and going right away. I used Audacity to tweak things, and I can recommend this unit.

I bought this with the intentions of recording music vocals. I've been testing it out and have learned that it really isn't the best for that type of recording. The microphone doesn't seem to adjust to the volumes of your voice. When I would sing loudly, the audio would playback as crackly. Even when I would be farther away, the same thing would happen and would just ultimately create unusable recordings. When I would sing normally, as in talking level, the sound would be great. I would say that this would be a great microphone if your intentions are for speaking only. It has a beautiful sound with that level of noise.

The headphones are great, but the microphone would never work with my laptop. I tried contacting the maker to get help, but they never answered the phone. They answered the email with a link that didn't work either.

Good for doing my internet radio show

Recording quality isn't that of a professional studio, but it certainly does what I want it to and doesn't sound awful at all. I plug it right into my macbook and record in garageband. I record voice and acoustic guitar. Love this thing. So easy to use.

I bought this in order to do some simple recording at home for a publisher I work for. It's so easy to use, although the tripod for the mic and I don't always get along (that's our issue.) It's a great value for the money and it is as plug-n-play as you can get.

I loved this mic. It is great for beginners I ended up upgraded. This is great with audacity. I couldn’t use properly on other studio equipment because it’s a usb mic I would recommend it for recording live music like piano or guitar. I would not recommend it for music software I couldn’t get it to work if you have then let me know!! Other wise a test mic code the price.

This microphone works perfectly for podcasting on a budget. It was easy to put together and easy to use. The sound seems to be really good. I use this with Garage Band on Mac and so far it has worked perfectly.
