These batteries fit my skill saw but did not provide as long run time as the original batteries from DeWalt. Next time I will just put out the more $$$ for the DeWalt battery.

The lower weight DeWalt has been rebuilt w NiMh cells (1st picture), heavier one original NiCad cells (2nd picture).Low Ampere-hour/cheap cells is the most likely cause.I'll report back if they last as long as the originals - I'm highly skeptical. Has anyone tested these on Ah test and can confirm 3.6 Ah?3 stars for now, will change when I know more.Addendum 2020Nov15As expected there's NO WAY these are a full 3.6Ah. In my dewald skill saw, reasonably sharp carbide blade in 1/2" CDX ply, 4 & 1/2 passes cutting 80" long shelves (4.5 x 80" = 360" total cut length) battery went from fully charged to not enough power to continue cut. At 2 for $26 one should not expect much and these battery just clear that very low bar.They work fine for small short jobs...but so did my old batteries.Changing to 2 stars - had they been straight forward with the true Ah capacity, I'd leave at 3 stars considering price/performance.That is all.

My tools are still great but my batteries are shot and these are good batteries they last a long time through the whole day I can keep the two of them going that’s wonderful good batteries from 18 V.

Got two of these. One was a very tight fit in the drill (a DeWalt). Some variation in size. Have not used them many cycles so can not speak to life In the beginning, use got longer as I used/charged them. Considering the price of brand name, it is a good way to keep your older =NiCd tools going and cheaper than Li and adapters.

Positive: good battery life and similar power to Dewalt battery.Negative: after using approx half dozen times, could not remove from my drill. Had to pry it out breaking the tabs of the battery.

Batteries have nowhere near the battery life of a new DeWalt battery. You better bring your charger with you and have a receptacle close by. The battery sticks in the battery charger that I have from my DeWalt.Not worth the money.

So glad I found these so I didn't have to buy a whole new set of tools.
