I wish the item sent to me was clear, as in the picture, rather than blue or green. Also, when I washed it in the dishwasher it warped slightly.

I use jugs to mix baby formula, and this one works great! Does not leak when I shake the jug, as the Rubbermaid ones now do. Also a little more roomy than the Rubbermaid jugs. Rather thin plastic so hoping it holds up well. Planning to purchase more! While the picture showed clear plastic, the one that arrived was transparent green with a matching lid. Not a big deal, though would be nice to be able to choose colors since I color-code things when I have more than one infant at a time.

Update: It now New Year's Eve and the last of the 5 bottles that I bought over the past 12 months have given up the ghost. It is really pathetic that these things couldn't even last a year before cracking. I notice that people who bought these bottles a couple of years haven't had any complaints perhaps the manufacturer changed the plastic mix or changed their manufacturing process; whatever happened is not good. I am extremely disappointed with these bottles. We bought some in December and then a few more a couple of months later after one cracked which I thought was just a fluke. Out of the 5 we purchased, 3 have now cracked in approximately 8 months worth of use. We had switched to these because the Rubbermaid bottles ha also started cracking on us but at least we got a couple of years use before they died. I won't be purchasing any more of these bottles. Can't anyone make a decent water bottle that lasts more than a year or two before they die?

I bought this product to carry my home made tea to my job and I have used it for roughly 1-2 months now. During this time I got to know a little bit more about this product. The good stuff is that I have not had an issue with any spills or the cap loosening up. So far it has held tight although I do fear the spout may hit or rub against my backpack when I am walking and spill all the tea. To make sure it doesn't spill I position the bottle in an upright position. It does hold tight when screwing the cap on, no doubts there. The bottle is BPA-free and has measurements on the side of it so that is good to have. The only thing I wish this product had is stronger plastic. One time when I was pouring in hot tea into the container, the plastic started to get a different shape and I messed it up. That is one thing you should absolutely be careful when pouring in hot contents. Right now my bottle is deformed because of that, and now every time I pour hot tea, I always put 1/3 of ice cubes into the bottle to keep the plastic from melting. I am satisfied with the product because it serves its purpose, although I wish it wouldn't melt as easy as pouring hot tea. UPDATE 4/23/2014 So this has still held up and I have only had one instance where the cap came off and it was when I was running with it in my backpack. I was late to work so we all know that feeling! It spilled all in my backpack only because I was running quite quick and caused a lot of turbulence that probably knocked the cap off. I can't give it a negative because of that but just a heads up to any of you who do plan to purchase.

Refrigerator Bottle 1-1/4 Qt. colors may vary ....ARROW PLASTIC MFG CO: This is an attractive bottle. However I have found that the tether on the lid doesn't stay far enough up to always stay free from the pouring liquid. The bottle has nice grip grooves, but I can't get the lid to screw on so the pour spout is positioned correctly in relation to the grooves. Although it is smaller (1 qt.) and not as attractive I prefer the "Rubbermaid Plus Bottle Mixing 1 Qt." This one may be leak-proof, however.

hello, we needed a sturdy bottle to hold distilled water. the original gallon water container took up too much space in a small locker. it also is made of thin plastic stuff that breaks with the slightest bump. so, this smaller, sturdier bottle fit the bill. the top has a great pour spout. we use this to hold distilled water that will be poured into a smaller flip bottle. we need to refill water in batteries located in hard to reach places. the larger bottle is too cumbersome, so the water goes into a hand held small flip lid bottle. but, this 1.25 quart holds all of the necessary distilled water that we need for months on end. plus, it does not take up much room. yea! the only problem that turned out to be rather good was the bottle shows clear, but was delivered translucent green. now, we can find the bottle easily in a crowded locker filled with stuff...

It's a water bottle so it's pretty straight forward. It holds the water and also it has a top so it does not spill the water. That pretty much sums it up. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it called me ugly. Just kidding! It gets 4 stars because it arrived and was green, not clear. Green is fine, but then show a picture of a green bottle. Amiright?
