I bought this machine so I could try and replicate the frozen Dr. Pepper from McDonald’s, and it works AMAZING!! I did a lot of research before buying since they aren’t exactly cheap, but this to me is worth every penny! First off there are a few tips to know that are super helpful to ensure your icee experience goes smooth. Freeze the middle canister for a minimum of 15-30 mins and chill your drink of choice before trying to make anything otherwise it’s going to take way longer to make and since the machine is a tad bit noisy I try to do what I can to cut back on the run time. Next would be make sure whatever you are trying to icee that it is high in sugar or it will NOT WORK. It’s honestly super easy to use and personally I have loved trying all different kinds of “icee” flavors aka soda, don’t bother buying the syrups unless it’s something you really want. Soda and high sugar drinks are what I have found work best and keeps it on the budget friendly side. Lastly it’s really easy to clean!! The lid comes off completely and the middle removes as well! Hopefully this helps!

This does not work I think you should find something false or just buy it from a gas station or anywhere like that.it also takes hours about 3 hours even! It also tastes very bad 🤢so I rate it a 1 cuz I hate it but I also think they worked really hard in these so I'm gonna be nice and give it 1 rating but you shouldn't buy this there is better ones or like McDonalds has some or Wawa or any place that you buy a icee from❤️‍🩹but I don't want you to waste your money (i know that u can return it and get ur money back)

Used it twice now. Made regular black cherry slushies and coffee frappes they came out great. We make our own ice cream so We used rock salt have to say DONT USE ROCK SALT, it binds it up. Use table or kosher salt. The second run of frappes (coffee syrup and 2% milk) came out better than Starbucks. We did end up increasing the syrup to 7 oz instead of 5 oz for both runs. It goes quick. Watch it like a hawk after 10 min because its one of those nothing, nothing, nothing, holy cow we got slushies!!! Make sure to keep the ice topped off and you're golden. Prep is key though make sure everything is cold when you start. Kids are on missions now to find wacky flavors to prank friends when we get out of lockdown. 🤫 the noise isn't any louder than a hand mixer or regular ice cream machine but if it gets loud it meant something was wrong (rock salt binding it up in our case)

Here's the results.... Very tasty! Review- the preparation takes a bit of time. You must put the steel canister in freezer for at least 1-2 hours prior to using and prep the syrup mix and chill for the same 1-2 hrs. Make sure you have plenty of ice cubes and "coarse" salt for inside the steel canister. For our batches (made 2 initially) the machine run time was 20 mins for each batch and presto coke slushy! One drawback with this machine......one batch will only make 32 ozs. of slushy. However, if you plan ahead and have multiple cups or a container that can go in your freezer you can make multiple batches and freeze them for later (which we plan on doing). The fun part about this will be showing and making them with the grand kids so in that department it's a win. If you want a machine that makes more than 32 ozs at a time I have seen them on Amazon for $599 each. Overall, this machine does the task it's designed for well.

I really wanted to like this ICEE slushie maker. Growing up these would be my favorite thing to get, but it was disappointing. It takes longer than expected to get the right consistency, and the results can be hit or miss defiantly not consistent. Fun idea, but I expected better performance for the price.

You definitely need to make sure you have enough "salt" added to the ice container. Otherwise you will be sitting around for hours wondering "whats taking so long?". I like the machine. But it only makes upwards to 32 oz of slushie. It would help if you use smaller cups around 8oz to be able to share with more people. You will use up nearly the entire small bottle of icee syrup. I would suggest you buy the larger bottles as it will be gone before you know it. I am very happy and my kids loved it. Definitely a pretty cool gift and i will put it to good use during the summer hot weather.

My wife bought me one for Christmas. Worked okay, little louder than I would have liked, but whatever. Then it broke while I was cleaning it. As I couldn't find just the replacement parts I needed, we bought a new one. It broke the moment we turned it on. The whole thing is very thin cheap plastic, not well made at all. I'd hoped the first was just a fluke, or maybe something I did wrong. But two in a row? That's just poor quality. I thought we'd buy a name brand, spend a little more but get a better quality right? Nope. Do NOT recommend buying this.

Grandson’s love Icees This was the perfect gift. We did have to get directions off of YouTube because there were none in the box so it made it a little challenging, but they did turn out great.

Got the slushy machine and it doesn’t look like the photo, it’s an entirely different model. Unfortunately, it came and it was broken, the center piece inside the drum that was supposed to be attached was cracked at the bottom and this machine didn’t freeze at all even when following instructions to the letter.
