I have two dogs about 15lbs each. They are a bit longer than they are tall. The large fit them well. The medium went on, but was too short. Here are pics of the medium and the large for reference. I washed the larges and they still fit but definitely shrank. The last picture is a picture of the black in large before I wash it and the white in large after I wash

My senior rescue is paraplegic and I'm always on the lookout for nice, long, cotton shirts for him so he's not chilly and are wash and wear since he cannot control his bowels/urine. These are so cheaply made and ill-fitting, I'd give them zero stars.I've got a Heinz 57 mutt with a 15.5" neck, 15.5" body and 16.5" barrel chest. Ordered a Large set in gray and black per their sizing chart (he's a Small in most every other brand shirt/sweater he has). Washed in cold water on delicate cycle in a lingerie bag/dried on extra low and they both shrunk approximately 2" everywhere (washed just the gray one first then held it up to the unwashed/new black one for reference). I expected shrinking, it's cotton. But this cotton is SO CHEAP that first it shrinks ridiculously but then it stretches right back out like a sock that's lost it's elastic! The neck hole is huge- same size opening as the rear, and slides down within minutes. **These are my worst dog clothing item off Amazon so far** and the company was unresponsive. Be careful- NO REFUNDS/RETURNS. These just sit at the bottom of his clothing pile since I dread using them (they're that cheap weave that picks up every bit of lint) and he gets his front legs caught inside the shirts since THEY'RE NOT CUT TO FIT DOGS AND DON'T HOLD THEIR SHAPE AT ALL. 2 thumbs down.See pics for ridiculous fit. Does anyone in this company even own a dog or did they just use stuffed animals?! I tried them on another dog with similar measurements but different body type and he had the same issues- ridiculous neck, wonky arm holes, zero shape. They're cut anatomically wrong which completely blacklists this "designer" for me. Ugg. He may as well be wearing nothing. Wish I'd read the poorer reviews. Wouldn't take them for free.

tl;dr - great for lady dogs (probably not boys), great for southern summers, great price, but probably better for a less active dog than mine.I ordered the XXL for my 40 pound pit bull who is allergic to grass to keep her belly from touching grass in the summer. They're nice and thin (we live in the Southern US) and she has plenty of winter clothes already, so this was great for the hot summer months. They are breathable and a good shape, but they're SO stretchy. I took 2-3" out of the neck because it was stretching so much she would slide right through the neck hole, even while in her kennel. I think this is exacerbated by her short pokey pittie fur, but it slides down her back during the day and can't work its way back up, so it will stretch out so much that her back legs will get caught in the belly of it. I have to soak and machine dry this shirt to shrink it back up every 2-3 wears. In addition, because it's thin, it's not super durable. It took about 3 weeks for a large hole to appear in this (ok, she plays rough with my other dog, whatever), and a couple more weeks for another huge hole in the other side, as well as one of the seams is coming apart several inches. So now I'm going to cut this up and use it as a template to make little summer shirts out of human undershirts, which should stretch less. I wish they'd made these out of pre-shrunk fabric - I'm sure the constant wetting/drying is wearing out this thin material even faster.Of note, this is a GREAT shape for a female dog. I really wanted her whole belly covered since she's a pittie and her back legs extend flat behind her, so she drags her whole belly through the grass regularly. If you have a boy dog, this will likely get peed on, especially since the belly does hang a bit - a feature which I like (when the shirt is freshly shrunken) because it lets heat vent out, but is probably not ideal for boys.

We love it!! Got a Medium for my 10 lb cat Wally for when he takes walks in our backyard. He is black and it’s really hard to see him in green bushes or grass. This is perfect for pointing him out! Plus I was really surprised by the quality - 100% cotton, soft and breathable.I measured Wally and M seemed like a perfect size, although I totally thought it would be too big. But Medium was just perfect for him! So measure your pet!

Fits her great! I live in the mountains and she needs tank tops to keep the tree sap off her belly. Only complaint is the the arm holes could be positioned a little different... but no big deal. My dog was always wearing human tank tops, so this was my first time buying a pet tank top and I am satisfied!:::UPDATE::: 11/9/18i still like these tanks, but im not IN LOVE with them. I have gone through 3 out of the 4 i bought already because they get holes in them very easily at the seams. changing my 5 star rating to a 4 star.

Great soft dog shirts. I bought a small and xsmall because I wasn’t sure what would fit my chihuahua who is just under 4lbs. The Xsmall fit her perfectly. The small is for a dog about 7lbs and above.

I have an 80 pound English pointer mix with a long, narrow chest and about medium thick fur. The XL fit just right. The shirt is light weight and has a good stretch.
