I bought this bookshelf after a purchase of a similar one on an online auction site landed me with a product that looked nothing like what I'd ordered.This however, was exactly the colour of wood that I wanted. It's a lovely natural bamboo colour and looks great.You will need a decent screwdriver to put this together. It didn't take too long to build, but I had real difficulty trying to screw in the screws when they were on an angle and there was little space to get your hand. Someone on my family who is used to building things suggested that it would be easier to construct the shelf bit first, and then attach it to the base, rather than starting with the base as in the directions. But, the directions are logical and do work, so follow the ones that come with the shelves if you're not used to building things. You just might need a bit of elbow grease for certain bits!Once constructed, the shelves look great and are very sturdy. I currently have lots of books on mine, including heavy hardbacks and it's coped fine.A great feature of this bookshelf is that it's easily portable. I plan to move soon, and I'm happy that I'll be able to transport it with no difficulty.

The assembly isn't too difficult, though the screws require a bit of force to put in and sometimes they end up wonky, and it's definitely a job for small hands. It's a sturdy shelf and made from sustainable bamboo material, can hold about 18 books depending on thickness. All round a good product in my eyes

It looks amazing and fits so many books on it. Construction was a bit fiddly, definitely a 2 man job for us but having read the other comments we had a good idea of why was coming. The wood is a lovely colour and it’s great quality too. Really pleased.

This small tree book case looks great, however the assembly which I undertook on my own, can be tricky, you really do need a stubby screwdriver as some of the screws are hard to access I will have to look for a screwdriver as I have two screws to put in, however it s still sturdy enough for the books I have placed on it

Easy to put together, although I would recommend assembling it in reverse order according to the instructions as the screwdriver included was too long to fit in between the shelves. Once assembled it is quite sturdy and looks good. Pleased with my purchase!

The instructions need to be followed in reverse order or you will find you don’t have enough room for the screwdriver! Heed this, as I had to undo it! The screws need to be lined up well or risk of splitting wood (luckily I caught this in time) although small damage to wood as I assemblied - even on carpet. Looks good once up. No books on yet, so unable to comment on ‘fit for purpose’.

I'm very happy with new little book stand, it's quite compact and can fit a lot of heavy books on. A little advice would be to buy a stubby Phillips head screwdriver to help assemble this item as the one provided can be a little long and also you will struggle to get more than 2/3 screws in as the quality of the provided screwdriver isn't great. Once assembled this bookcase is excellent!

I bought two of theses for my wife's study. It's not the biggest of rooms, hence the need for smaller bookcases. One fits nicely on the floor and the other on her desk.The instructions to build are clear and once assembled, it is sturdy enough to take a bunch of large hardback books. However to get the screws fully driven in, it takes some wrist strength. Some screws are positioned so you can get an electric screwdriver to work, however some just have to be done manually.Overall exactly what my wife needed and I would certainly buy again.

El material (bambú) es muy agradable, tanto visualmente como al tacto. Una compra recomendable a la que solo le puedo poner un pero, y es que las instrucciones de montaje, seguidas en el orden que establecen, provocan que sea casi imposible atornillarla correctamente (por el ángulo de las tablas) algo que se evitaría haciéndolo de manera contraria.Nota: el envío lleva todo lo necesario para su montaje, incluido un pequeño destornillador de estrella.

Imposible de montar a la primera.Una vez que lo consigues (se puede) queda muy bonita, pero lo dicho, para montarla es horrible. Mejor montarla de arriba a abajo (al contrario de como indican las instrucciones)La calidad es la que se espera por el precioPara poner algunos libros o DVDs, suficiente
