Exact replacement for Ryobi PW
I have an older Ryobi 1600 light duty power washer that had a finicky GFCI switch from early on. I didn't realize that it was failing prematurely otherwise I would have exchanged it back. Anyways, it finally failed and the switch would not stay on, it would keep tripping no matter what. all you'd hear is click but the green light would never stay on the unit or plug. It turns out this was the exact replacement.very simple replacement. All you need is a phillips screwdriver. This comes with all the parts and new screws but if your old ones are perfectly fine, don't bother opening them. Unscrew and open the bottom half of your busted plug, unscrew the 2 power lines (white and black, remember which goes where). This one had no green ground because it is 2 prong** . unscrew the cord tie down and remove the cord from the old. Put cord into the new plug, refasten the cord holder and feed the power lines into the terminals and screw down. Close bottom cover and done!Hopefully this one lasts longer than the original. If not I'll update and change the rating. As of now, I'll keep it at a 4.

High quality replacement GFI PLUG
I purchased a commercial hairdryer, investing over $200 several years ago so I could dry my thick hair. My heart sank when the plug would not pick up electricity when plugged in. The dryer was dead. This ELEGRP replacement GFI plug is stronger and better than the original. It comes with three different sized rubber cord covers so you can get a tight cord fit. I highly recommend! I saved $200 and saved my very special hair dryer!Note: The plug is larger than original. You need patience and some strength to install the very small bar that locks down the cord for "extra" support when pulling the plug in and out of the socket. This is an excellent unit and worth asking for extra help from a handy, strong friend.

You have to press reset after the initial plug in.
I got this to replace a plug for my low EMF hairdryer. The hairdryer was pretty pricey so it was worth fixing the cracked plug. This replacement came with all the pieces I needed and extra grommets and I was able to install it fairly easily.I didn’t pay attention to the description but you need to press the reset button after the initial plug in. I don’t normally leave my hair dryer plugged in because it gets in the way which means I have to press the reset button every time I plug it in. It is a little bit of an inconvenience but I guess you are a little bit safer testing the device each time you use it.The plug seems very industrial looking and is bigger than I expected. It is designed for this use but it’s a little bit of overkill for my hairdryer.

Back Out POwer Washing Again!
My GFI on my electric power washer went bad. I was looking online and found the entire cord at a high price. I saw this GFI and it was the solution to my problem. I have been back out this morning Happily Power washing again. The best part was it cost under $20 and is a quality product that was very easy to replace the bad one. Took less than five minutes to do the fix. I am extremely happy with the product and the price. Also, it came one day sooner than was projected.

Works as intended, comes with all wire size options
Came with everything I'd need (minus a screwdriver, but goes without saying). My power washer plug was making loud buzzing noises and was becoming hazardous, so I pulled it off, stripped the wires down as much as I needed, and plugged/twisted them into this plug replacement. Bonus, since this is inline, it was able to fit my outdoor plugs that are in covered weather-resistant casings. Works great, my pressure washer has never been happier.

Works as promised.
I selected this option since it has a “pigtail” connection to the plug which makes it much easier to plug into my GFCI outlet outside that has a weatherproof cover. Took all of ten minutes to replace the bad plug and get my power washer back up and running. Seems to work great after 4-5 separate uses. Recommend.

Granny's power-washer is working again!
I've done many similar fixes, but inexperienced might have a little trouble. I don't know how waterproof it is, as I avoid getting it wet. Seemed to be a good tight fit to keep water out.
