T-fal Ultimate Hard Anodized Nonstick Pots and Pans Set, 14-Piece, Onyx

This is an initial review of the 14 pc set as my 12 year old has been using them more than I have right now. I will say I love the variety of pots and pans you get for the price. I did get it on a Black Friday deal. These pans seem to cook evenly with no warping initially and clean up with simple running water prior to the dishwasher which my daughter loves lol. I have an electric cooktop and they don’t rock at all on the cooktop even the griddle pan. The handles so far seem to be sturdy and don’t over heat while cooking. They are riveted so that may change overtime. I love the vented pan covers as that seems to cook items faster without added moisture from the steam. The “heat indicator” I’m not so sure about yet as I have yet to see it actually change no matter the heat setting. Not changing my rating because of it as I never had confidence in a gadget like that anyway. No evidence of scratches or damage yet as we only use silicone or wooden utensils. I’ll keep this review updated as they get more use and cleaning. Been a few months now and this set has held up great. My daughters have been using them more than me lately and we've only used plastic utensils with them. They continue to be non stick and still clean up great. Highly recommend for the price especially if you can get them on a black Friday sale like I did.

This pots and pans set is amazingly good! I had always used cheap pots/pans that I had for WAY too long. I finally decided to purchase a new set but was super overwhelmed with all the options out there. I finally stumbled upon these and decided to pull the trigger as I had read good things about them and the brand. All I can say is, I was blown away! The non-stick works insanely good. To the point where my food would just slight off of it and I'd almost spill because I was so used to food sticking to my old, cheap pots/pans I had previously. I literally can't get food to stick to these even if I try! They heat really evenly, and the lids work great. The lids also have vents which is a good addition. This comes with everything you would ever need and the vegetable steamer works great too! These look high end, feel high end, and cook like they are high end but the price was not high end. Couldn't recommend these more!

I researched for months. Decided on this set given reviews and reasonable price. I absolutely love this entire set. Pan sizes are great, the clean up like a dream. I've never once put one in the dishwasher given it takes seconds to hand wash. Highly recommend them

I really like these pots and pans so far. It was difficult to register the 14 piece set on the T-fal website for warranty, as the product number isn't listed, so you need to contact customer service and provide a copy of your invoice, the image, and the Amazon link information and your name and address. Aside from that, the products themselves are sturdy and well-made. I seem to have trouble with some of the lids though. Even though they have a steam release hole the lids seem to be just a smidge smaller than maybe they should be, and when boiling or even simmering something in water in a pot with a lid on it rattles and spills water all over the sides, even if the pot is only half-full. My second issue arises when making sauces and gravies, and using a whisk. For whatever reason the shape of the pots doesn't allow for a traditional whisk to reach the bottom inside edges (I fully realize that circular pots do not have 'edges' but currently it's the best description I have) so I always end up with a ring of thick or near-burnt sauce stuck inside where the whisk can't seem to reach it, and thinner sauce everywhere else. I will need to buy one of those flat yet curved whisks in order to fit the shape of these pots better. They clean very well though, and easily in the dishwasher, and heat up much faster than our old cheap teflon pots and pans. They don't stick and no scratches so far.

We all have some of these: chipped, scratched pots and pans that wobble on a range because of being WARPED. I've had enough with my pans and began research on cookeware sets. I will note here that my current cookware is the high end non-stick, with my fry pans being those bought after watching some fool on TV melt candy in a wrapper in the pan and then wiping it clean. (These pans by the way are only 8 months old and are already WARPED). For new cookware, my ONE main requirement was that they were or would be NON-WARPING. The second requirement was that they be non-stick. After some research I settled on the 14 piece of T-Fal non-stick / non-warp set. Item came well packaged and unpacking the items I was impressed with the feel of each piece: not too heavy or light even with a lid. I also noted the non-stick interior surface and the very nice looking anodized exterior. Very nice touch with the vented lids (an actual hole in the glass) and the FULL insulation of the handles. Now I mention this insulation because I have (had) cookware items that had decorative (?) metal ends on the handles that would occasionally get very warm while being used.( Nothing like grabbing a pot or pan handle that want to cook your hand medium rare.) I washed each piece and WITHOUT SEASONING, took the largest frying pan, placed it on the range on MED HEAT (about 5-6 on an electric glass top range) and let it heat up. After 2-3 minutes, I noted that the T-FAL center emblem in the pan really didn't look like it changed much. I expected it to go from the T-FAL logo to a full red dot. Didn't happen but it was no biggie as in the past several months I began preheating my fry pans for about 3 minutes due to their warped exterior. Next I added magarine as I was going to cook sunnyside up eggs. I was impressed to note that the margarine melted quickly AND when spread about the pan, little bubbles began to show up over the ENTIRE pan surface. This meant that the pan was heating up evenly. In went the eggs and after placing a lid on the pan I turned away to get something off the counter. Now, with my older warped fry pans I could do this same act, return to the range and begin to slowly rotate the pan to get even heating on the eggs. Not so with this T-Fal fry pan. I noted the whites turning opaque quickly and the yolks getting their whitish color meaning they would be just slightly runny. In short, these eggs came out perfect and in well over 1/2 the time from my old cookware. Even my other half was impressed. Now my next "adventures in cooking" will involve sautéing, making my alfredo sauce, grilling (this set came with a VERY NICE grill pan!) and frying. So far I am following the instructions by keeping the range heat at MED or just a bit more. Noted is that one foray into frying eggs does not provide enough experience with this cookware to turn cartwheels in the kitchen. But so far, with eggs being one of my more difficult items to make because of my other warped pans with uneven heat, this T-Fal pan is impressive. So, my rating of 4 is tentative as I will update this review within a short time after I try other pieces of this set. UPDATE: First this disclaimer: I HAVE NOT and AM NOT an employee of T-Fal or Amazon, and I have NOT been hired to write a raving review. That said, now for the update. I have had this set now for over a month and have used all but one of the pans. The total experience has been incredible. I cook out of self-defense (the other half is banned by the EPA from boiling water) and am pretty fast in the kitchen when I am cooking. - WEIGHT OF PANS: I thought the pans were a bit on the light side until I started using them. Whether it was thought of during design or not, the pans are heavy enough to withstand various cooking requirements but light enough where you don't break your wrist when lifting. - NON STICK SURFACE: Come on now! Who in their right mind melts plastic spoons or uses an electric beater on their non-stick cookware! I believe surface of this T-Fal would take this abuse with no problem, but I happen to like my food without the taste of plastic. I've used nearly all the pans and found them all to be amazingly non-stick as well as sturdy. I still use butter/olive oil when sautéing or frying. I have had nothing stick to the pans nor have any of these pans lost any of their non-stick capability. - HEATING: This is the BEST part of this cookware. If you cook/have cooked with slightly warped cookware, you know the problem with hot heat spots or very little heat at all. Thus, you have to move the pan around a bit to get yours items cooked. Each of the pans in this T-Fal set has VERY even heat distribution. There is a "plate" on the bottom of the pans that distributes the heat evenly. I have found that because of this, I've noted shorter cooking times on various items AND I now cook on a lower heat settings NOTE: This T-Fal cookware set will cause you to change how your cook and for how long. The even heat distribution is stunning. ALSO, I do preheat my pans (except for boiling water) and use only wooden or high heat tolerant silicone utensils.. - STORAGE OF THE COOKWARE: I don't stack this cookware. Instead I hang it up. This simply helps prolong the life of my investment. Overall, I am very impressed with this cookware. Even my other half (known for making ANGRY little pellets called hamburgers), has begun to learn that this cookware can even make her a decent cook. And yes, I bit on the late night adverts showing the frying pans melting plastic spoons and candy in wrappers and magically not sticking. I bought 3. Within 90 days they either lost their non-stick capability, began to warp, or both. Some people are gourmet cooks; others have trouble boiling water. This cookware will holdup very well and serve both very well. My motto is that you get what you pay for. And you WILL get more than you've paid for this set. I raise my rating to 5 stars and I do recommend as a BUY.

my second set... this time I will be much more carefull about over heating... overheating will kill these sets... and not good for the food either... been a few months, not overheating, and they still look and cook like new... hard to beat these for the money

These are the real deal. I’ve been looking for nonstick cookware that I can put in the dishwasher for a reasonable price for over 15 years. These pans are incredible. I haven’t even forget to put a little pan cooking spray on them and even when I don’t put anything on them, I can get perfectly cooked omelette eggs even with cheese. I cannot recommend these enough. They’re amazing.

I just got them today an I first used the Griddle I prepared it like it says in the manual. I have an electric Kennmore Glass Top Stove. It was a little big because the burners on it are 6in an 9in. But after letting it preheat I put some seasoned shrimp on Skewers on it an they came out great an clean up was a breeze. So tonight I am making Velveetah Skillet Sensations Lasangua in the 10.25 in. fry pan but I had to find a lid that would properly fit it which is why I am giving this a 4 star review the 8 in. frying pan I can fit the Dutch Oven lid on it an a lid from the other 3qt pot. They need to include a lid for the 10.25 frying pan cause that would make it easier to cook things that need a medium size pan an not a xtra large or small frying pan to cook other things in like Hamburger Helper. I wish they would send me a lid to fit this frying pan til they do I give it 4 stars. Will update on the longevity of this set in the future. Update: I found a lid for the 10 inch pan I had to use 1 from a large old pot that I had. I have been using all of the pots an pans except the Dutch oven pot. Everything I have cooked in the other pots an pans in this set have come out tasty an nothing has stuck to them this set is better than the Granite Stone pots an pan set that I have that has discolored after only using them for a while. This T-fal has not discolored an the nonstick surface is still working great unlike the Granite stone which stuff sticks to now so I have stopped using them all together an only use this set now for everything I cook. After I am done cooking I just use a drop of mild soap an a little water to wash them an they come out clean I then dry them with a towel an they are ready to be used again. I have left stuff in them overnight to see if they are still easy to clean an the next day I just use a damp paper towel an wipe them out an all the stuff left in them come right off. I will not be using anything else to cook with these will be the only cookware that I will own from now on. So I have added a star for this reason.

It was time to replace my existing T-fal set I've had for over 3 years and I'm so glad I did! This 14-piece set has all the cookware I need at a great price on Amazon. It's so much better than my previous set which in comparison feels overly light and flimsy. Can definitely see and feel the improved quality with the slightly heavier weight, improved handle connection and the Thermo-spot technology design interior. For non-stick, I'm always looking for a set that is PFOA, lead, and cadmium free, and this set has all 3 safety assurances. The glass lids and silicone handles look great and there's the added bonus of being able to use my previous non-glass lids in a pinch if I needed to, which hasn't been the case, but they fit perfectly. The silicone handles do get a bit hot when cooking over the stove top for a long time, but isn't a deal breaker by any means. Taking extra good care of this set for longevity. Will update post in a few years to see how they keep up with daily use. So far, excellent!

It’s great and easy to clean

Loved my new Tefal Cookware Set. Nothing sticks to the pots or pans when cooking and they are so very easy to clean. I would highly recommend buying this product as it is well worth the money.

I bought the 14 piece set in 2017. They have lasted me I years. My wife, unfortunately used metal utensils on most of them and knife to cut on them. So some of them are ruined, but 8 years is a great amount of time for less than 200$. I have the smaller 8" pan still in perfect condition. They're great pans. I keep them oiled with olive oil. I cant complain
