R134a Refrigerant Recharge Kit, AC Recharge Hose Kit with Gauge, R134a Freon Can Tap Recharging Hose with Detachable R134a Quick Coupler for AC Refrigerant System

This worked like a champ with the self-sealing R134a cans I got at W@lmart. I was a little leery after reading some of the negative reviews, but was desperate to find something that had less negative reviews than this did and couldn't find anything better at this price point. The only slight negative issue I had, was when I connected an R134a can to the self-sealing adapter/valve/hose/gauge assembly, there was momentary leakage (liquid spray & gas) until the can was fully screwed onto the adapter. I strongly suggest wearing safety goggles/gloves and having a pair of pliers or wrench handy for this reason. I've recharged my cars refrigerant many times in the past, but always with the old piercing type cans. This was the first time with the self-sealing cans. For all I know, momentary leakage is normal when connecting anything to self sealing cans. Everything else worked perfectly with this hose/gauge/valve device. Overall, 4.5 stars (deducted a half star for the leakage)

Item worked great. Used it to add freon to car AC. Doing so made the AC cold again.

This particular AC hose/gauge was the only one I could find that wasn’t a “frequently returned item.” It seems to have worked fine, but I’ve only used it once so far. We’ll see.

Worked as described. I would recommend ensuring the valve lever on the can side is twisted closed before screwing it on to the can. I'm sure it was from the factory but I was messing with it prior. Also, I would recommend wearing gloves and eye protection. When attaching the connector to the low side valve, hold the metal line from the bottom to support it when you push the quick connector into the valve. For newbies, I also found the blue psi line is for your standard car refrigerant reading.

Had a small leak when trying screw on my self sealing R134a bottle, but that may have been on me for not tightening the bottle on very well. Otherwise it worked well and I was able to bring a refrigerator that was not cooling back to life. Thank you.

Works like it should, much better than the cheap ones you get at the parts store that don't have a gauge. Brass fittings instead of the plastic ones that break. I do hvac work and have a couple of sets of gauges but didn't want to put a different refrigerant through them so this was a cost effective way to charge a car.

Could be a little better quality… plastic that covers the needle fell out on the first time I used the hose. I mean it does the job, wouldn’t recommend for every day use 3 times a day. Find a Better quality, this is for one time, once a month use okay.

It works for car ac recharge, works for r134a cans. It would be more helpful if a brief instruction is included.
