Fit a 52mm hub!
This fit perfectly my Harbor Freight tagalong trailer. I lost 1 grease cap and they are impossible to find in the US. This solved my problem to keep the dirt and water out. I clean and grease the bearings annually so I only use them as a cap. Was easy enough to tap to remove them reinstalled just fine.

Tight, But They Fit
I have a heavy duty Harbor Freight trailer I put these on. The 1.98” are too small. After some finagling, and the use of a weighted sand hammer, they went on. Good buy!

Works I guess
They fit my 1720lb HF utility trailer.Fortunately, these are easy to fill but you'll need a grease gun to pack it.Installation is somewhat straight forward. But you might have trouble getting it started. Do NOT hammer it with the rubber seal on it. Hammer it in first, then put the rubber seal on. I used a 2x4 between the Bearing Buddy to get a softer, and even, hammering to the BB.Unfortunately, HF started actually packing their bearings with grease now.... but it's low quality grease. So I had to get that all out.Use any decent quality grease in your bearing buddy and your trailer should never let you down.

Great protection for small trailer bearings.
Wheel/axle bearings probably fail more often than any other part on small trailers. That's because they rotate at higher speeds than standard vehicle wheel bearings; are subject to a wider variety of loads and environmental conditions, and sit around/don't get maintenance attention as often as wheel bearings and other critical parts on our cars/trucks. I first learned about these when I bought a jet ski/trailer equipped with them, and never once had any issues with my trailer bearings for the 6 years or so I owned the ski/trailer, and I ran the ski in both fresh and saltwater.I bought this set for use on a Harbor Freight 4x8 super duty (up to 1,720 lbs.) folding utility trailer. Getting them in took a little patience, because the fit of this particular size (2.047") in the hub bore of this particular trailer is VERY snug (which is exactly what you want/need), but once I found that "sweet spot" alignment angle and pounded them in (use a block of wood or rubber mallet for this ... NO metal-on-metal contact with the rim of the Bearing Buddy), I knew they're in for good. All I need to worry about now is making sure the inner disc is still "floating" each time I use the trailer. When they're first installed, you'll have to check that after each use, and keep adding grease as needed, because it takes awhile for the normal movement of the bearings/grease to displace all the air trapped in the hub cavity when they're first installed.Another smart thing to do is use your hand to check the temperature of your bearing hubs at each road stop. "Warm" is fine/normal. "Hot" to the point of discomfort/burning isn't. Any standard axle grease is probably fine for use with these (that's what I used with my ski trailer), but I'm using Valvoline "Cerulean" lithium grease (designed for higher speed bearings/industrial machinery), just to make sure I'm getting maximum protection from the Buddies, regardless of speed/conditions. So far, so good!

Good concept; fits Harbor Freight 1-ton trailer kit
This fits the Harbor Freight 1-ton trailer kit.The zerk fitting is a nice feature. After you install and use it, check each time you stop.I had one side's snap retaining ring pop out.But the inner insert with the zerk fitting remained and protected the bearing!(Not sure why the retaining ring popped.Could have been a manufacturing problem or from installation.)4-stars instead of 5 because I had to buy another set for the one replacement.I needed it quickly enough to not send for a replacement. However, I will use them again.

Just freeze it!
Installed easy, as long as you freeze it overnight. Otherwise, it works great.

High quality
These are very high quality bearing protectors with the ability to put a shot or two of grease in after the install. Don’t over grease them though, just a little is needed. These were extremely hard to install on my trailers hubs. They were such a tight fit that I didn’t think I’d ever get them in. After 15 minutes of trying to walk them in I got lucky with just the right blow using a piece of 2x4 and a 3 pound dead blow hammer.I have a feeling when bearing replacement time comes I may destroy these and possibly ding up the hub a bit, they were that tight. All in all I’m happy with what they do and I don’t put thousands of miles on my trailer every year so I should be good for many years I hope.

Works perfect for Harbor Freight Heavy Duty Trailer
I have a Harbor Freight heavy-duty trailer that has served valiantly for 10 years. The dust caps fell off after less than a month of ownership, and I just replaced all the bearings, so I needed new dust caps. The Harbor Freight heavy duty trailer is incompatible with the 1.98" hub covers or protectors, INCLUDING the ones you can buy at Harbor Freight, so this Bearing Buddy is your best bet for replacing the caps.Installation involved a lot of patience and a rubber mallet. I just put the hub protectors over the hub and gently tapped around in a circle until it finally aligned right and slipped in... Expect it to take at least 5 minutes per side to find that sweet spot where it goes in perfectly. Once it's aligned, it goes in with a few more whacks, and is in SECURE for good.Don't forget to get out the grease gun and fill the hub with grease until the spring and plate pushes out, that's the main point of these - they keep the bearings completely immersed in grease to keep them fresh and maintenance free.
